Low Slit

While the Lycra Crotchless Panty by Coquette is comfortable and pretty, the crotchless slit just does not work for me. The slit starts too low down my crotch and makes its way up my bum crack. If I wanted the slit to sit where it does when I wear other crotchless panties, I'd have to pull the front of the panty up near my belly button. Yeah, not going to happen. The panty may work for others but it didn't for me.

The Lycra Crotchless Panty by Coquette is available in one-size-fits-most and in plus size. I wear a size XL so I purchased the plus size option. The panty arrived in a plastic bag with a barcode sticker on it. The sticker states the product name, colour, and size. The bag is good for shipping so it doesn’t arrive dirty or dusty but it’s not idea for storing the panty when it’s not worn. I just keep mine in my underwear drawer.

The panty has a cardboard tag attached to it. The tag states the company name, company website, product name, size, colour, and has a few photos of a model wearing the panty. The material composition is 80% nylon and 20% spandex (exclusive of trim). The material is quite stretchy. Also, the waistband is elastic band so it can be stretched at the waist as well.

I’ve taken a few measurements of the panty laying flat. If you need additional measurements, please let me know and I will get them for you.

Waistband unstretched: 16 inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 33 inches
Length of crotch slit: 5 ¾ inches

The panty is crotchless so they are ideal for bedroom wear. The style of underwear is bikini style so it covers your bum. You could wear the panty beneath clothing while out in public if you wanted but I prefer to keep crotchless in the bedroom only.

The main colour of the panty is white and it has black accents. There is black stitching at the top of the panty, a black bow made of ribbon at the top centre front of the panty, and black lace trim along the leg holes of the panty. The trim around the leg holes is a floral patterned lace. At its longest point, the trim sits ¾ inches off the panty.

My hip measurement is 41 inches. Since I’m on the lower end of the plus size suggested measurements (I’m actually a few inches below), I didn’t have any muffin top when wearing the panties. I have a larger bum and the panty covered my bum nicely. When I was looking in the mirror, I was really impressed with the way the panty looked on me.

Then I felt where the crotchless slit led and was no longer impressed. The slit starts approximately 6 ¾ inches below the top centre front of the panty. This is when the panty is not stretched. The slit ends about 6 ½ inches from the top centre back of the panty.

When I was wearing the panty, the slit started right at the hole of my crotch and went back to my bum crack. The reason this was odd to me is that other crotchless panties that I own do not have the slit beginning so low. While wearing the panty, I can still have sex in them, but for any play above the crotch hole, you’ll need to take the panty off.

Of course, where the slit sits on your body may be different depending on how you wear your underwear. After looking at my other crotchless panties, I realized that the reason why the slit sits so low on my body is because the length of the panty (from top centre front to top centre back) is shorter than the other pairs I have. If I wanted the slit to sit where it does while wearing my other crotchless panties, I’d have to pull the front of the panty up, which would end up leaving the top of my bum crack exposed.

I found the material to be comfortable while wearing it. The lace is soft and not the itchy kind that can be found on some lingerie pieces. If the panty were not crotchless, I’d wear these as every day style panties because of how comfortable they are. The care tag states that the panty should be hand washed and hung to dry.

I’ve given the panty a 3 out of 5 because the panty doesn’t have the length that I need to have the crotch slit sit properly on my body. It’s just too darn low. Other then that, the panty is comfortable, stretchy, and pretty. If you purchase this panty, I hope the slit works better for you then it did for me.
Follow-up commentary
Sadly, the crotch slit doesn't work for me. I still haven't sewn the slit up but I still plan on doing this. I wouldn't recommend them as a crotchless panty.
