Chamber maid - costume discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Sweet Blue Baby

I enjoy role playing from time to time and I am always looking for new outfits to try. My partner enjoys being in a somewhat dominating or powerful role, and I thought seeing me as his naughty maid would fit well with that. As soon as he saw me in this, I knew I was right.

The outfit arrived and as I opened the box I was surprised to find it wrapped in bright pink tissue paper. I smiled and enjoyed that it was like unwrapping a present. I took the pieces out and looked at them individually.

The dress is smooth and feels silky to the touch. The underwire cups are comfortable and can be wore with a bra for added support or a strategically placed splash of color. If you have larger breasts like I do I recommend trying this option. The underwire itself is sturdy but there is no way to tighten the garment around your chest for actual support. If you have smaller breasts this won't be a problem. The cups are made so that you can hide your nipples or let them peak out through the lace. If you want them to be visible but need extra support, try a bra with demi cups.

Whatever you decide, he'll have easy access if he wants more. The microfiber fabric has a bit of stretch to it and hugs my body nicely, while still hiding the less than perfect areas. The lace along the bottom of the dress is a very nice touch and makes it feel a little less revealing. That little extra touch gave me more confidence and it hides a delightful little secret. While standing your body is covered, barely, and the lace hits along the back right at the bottom of my butt. This made it oh so fun to see the look on his face the first time I turned around and bent over to "dust" something. When you do he'll be able to see everything so have fun with it. Wear a thong you know he likes, or nothing at all, and enjoy teasing him while you "clean".

The white satin apron is very well made. The lace detail is beautiful and I love that it extends all the way around my waist. I tie it in a little bow behind my back and there is enough lace left to hang down to the bottom of the skirt. It highlights my ass in the best way and the apron hides any extra tummy that you may not want displayed. As with the dress, the fabric for the apron is silky to the touch and feels great against bare skin (yours and his).

The hat is well made of the same lace found on the rest of the outfit. It fits well on my head and didn't fall off as I moved around. If you like the style it will work great for you. Personally, I prefer a different headpiece but it will depend on what you want.

Every piece of this outfit is well made with sturdy stitching and attention to detail. I've only had it for a short time but I anticipate being able to wear it for many years.

One important thing to note is the sizing. I have had trouble with costume sizing running very small and this is no exception. I wear a size 10/12 but had to order the 1X even though they say it is for sizes 18/20. The best piece of advise I have is to completely ignore the sizes they say it should fit and look only at the measurements in inches. I found those measurements to be meaningful and very helpful when trying to choose the correct size.

The costume should be hand washed in room temperature water with mild soap. Hang it to dry and iron on low heat only if necessary. If your washer has a reliable delicate cycle that should also work for you, you can look up the care instructions for microfiber and satin and decide which you are comfortable with.

This maid outfit does not come with a feather duster, but I recommend getting one. It is great for role play while you "dust" the house and I'm sure you can find other uses for it as well. I also wear black Mary-Jane pumps that complete the look nicely with a slightly innocent touch. You may want to try adding white thigh high stockings and a garter belt to add even more spice or just leave your legs bare, both are fun and I like to alternate. Whatever you do make sure the stockings don't have a crotch. One of the best parts of this outfit is his ability to see everything when you bend over, and you don't want anything in the way if he decides that he can't wait any longer and grabs you from behind.
