Striped fishnet thigh highs - thigh highs discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by connies7388

When I saw these thigh highs on EF I thought, "Wow!! These are sexy and different fishnet stockings" which are kind of a fetish of mine. I just love fishnet stockings. They arrive in a regular type stocking/pantyhose package--clear plastic wrap with the stockings on a thin piece of cardboard. On the front of the package is a picture of a woman wearing the stockings surrounded by a black mat. The back says "Leg Avenue" with dark and light pink stripes. A picture of a pair of legs wearing the stockings is front and center.

Size information is one size and a weight recommendation of 90--160 lbs. I think these measurements should be taken with a grain of salt--what about a petite woman with very heavy legs? Or, a very tall woman with tiny legs? It all depends how your weight is distributed so take that in account when ordering. For reference purposes only, I am 5'3" tall with a 28--29" inseam, weigh 140 lbs. and wear a size 7 shoe.

These stockings fit me perfectly. They reached about 6" above my knee. I would like them to have reached a tad higher, which they would, but I don't like overly stretching hosiery because I have ruined far too many pairs doing just that!

I ordered, and received, the black but these are also available in white. There is no way these stockings will stay up on their own so a garterbelt is necessary. This is information you should know before purchasing. Also, you will find yourself constantly checking to see if the stripes are still in the same place you originally put them (they probably will not be and you will be running to adjust).

Thes are made of 100% nylon and meant to be hand washed in warm water, drip dry and do not iron (has anyone ever ironed their stockings?). My grandma tells me she did iron her bras way back when but never stockings.

I wore these to work on a day when I was meeting someone after work. I like feeling sexy when I go out so these fit the bill nicely. The only problem I had was that the design kept shifting on me so everytime I went to the lady's room, I had to unhook and reset the stockings. Kind of a drag and if you are in a hurry, these certainly are not the stockings for you.

This is a tough call to make. I like the way these stockings look, but they take way too much effort to keep them in place and looking good. If you don't mind frequent readjustments and won't wear these frequently, they are very attractive and give a nice appearance to your legs.
