If you're a lover of girly, frilly and cute lingerie pieces like me, this Opaque polka dot mini dress may have caught your eye. Well, let me try to save you your hard-earned money right now. This mini dress was a waste of my time and money.

The style of this dress is a tie-back halter dress. It is very short and may not even be considered a dress on some. It has no underwire, so do not expect any support at all, which may be uncomfortable if you're above B cup. The opaque dress is anything but opaque. It is actually very sheer. I wanted a piece that would leave a little to the imagination, but this one failed. If you do not have a bra or panties underneath, be prepared to let it all show through.

Next, the Opaque polka dot mini dress states that "one size fits most". I can claim this to be inaccurate. I am average height, slightly under average weight woman and this dress is almost too tight on me. It clings to the body, but it's too constricting if you're over a US size 3/5.

Now, onto the material. This is cheap and so uncomfortable. I would guess that it is a polyester/cotton blend, but the polka dots (that feel painted on it) are scratchy even from the inside of the dress. I could not even imagine rubbing over my partner's body wearing this horrible dress. It would leave him with marks from the itchy polka dots! Unfortunately, the white lace detailing is the only nice fabric of this whole piece.

Looks can be deceiving. Although it looks decent on the website, it is not at all what I imagined I would be receiving. It ruined some special plans I had for my partner. Two thumbs down.

I have decided to throw this dress away, I still don't like it. I don't even find it useful to give away to a friend because the material just doesn't cut it, and the itchy white paint used to create the polkadots on the dress is anything but sexy when rubbing against a partner. Not my idea of a good time. I'm disappointed that this dress wasn't what I expected and I will only be buying high quality fabrics from now on. Also remember, ONE SIZE does NOT fit all!
