Ashley Boutique striped boyshort - shorts discontinued by Oh La La Cheri - review by amazon

What can I say, the only reason I ordered these was to match the Ashley Striped Bra that I really wanted to get (which, as it turns out, was a bit disappointing in that it was too tight).



First of all, I think labeling these as a boyshort is just a bit incorrect. They are definitely more of a full panty (though far from a thong). This was fairly obvious from the stock photo, but I definitely think it's worth mentioning. Next, the sizing runs just a tad small (though not as bad as the bra). I ordered a medium (which I truly am, based on hundreds of other panties), and it runs somewhat snug. I'd wear these panties out (as opposed to the bra, which will probably never spend more than 10 minutes on me), but they would definitely NOT be my first choice.



The panty is actually very cute. I love the color and the styling, and the little ribbon accent on the front is quite cute (it matches the same ribbon accent on the front of the bra). The back of the panty is a nice balance between cute and sexy. My husband definitely found the sheer lace back to be very hot.




Overall, the quality is very nice (as it was with the bra), and the panty is actually very comfortable against the skin. The lace and the seams are all very soft and my skin was never irritated by the materials or the construction of the panty. The lace does not sit flat agains your hips, and sticks up about a 1/4 of an inch, sort of flared out. Otherwise, the rest of the panty sits flat just as any other panty would.

The boyshorts are great, but I do wish they ran a bit larger. Unfortunately I can't really lose any weight on my hips, so it's going to stay snug. And I fear that a full size larger might be way too much.
