What Is It: Mesh Mini Skirt Set by Baci

This mesh bra and mini skirt set comes from Baci’s Spanish Dreams collection. This barely-there set is guaranteed to set your partner en el fuego. Since this set is mostly see-through, you and your partner will want to tango with this set in your bedroom and not out on the town.

This set has three different color options to choose from. There’s a red set with black trim, a black set with pink trim, and a leopard set with black trim. This set only comes as a one size fits most option.

Material: 90% Nylon, 10% Spandex

This set is made mostly of nylon. Nylon has the benefit of being a very strong material that should hold up well to repeated washings and use. It’s very durable and has some stretch to it. The rest of the stretch ability of this set comes from the addition of spandex. This material is very stretchable and helps the top to keep its shape long term and after much use.

There were no abnormal smells to this fabric, just the typical new fabric smell. The set is mostly see-through and feels like typical small-holed mesh. While it’s not as much fun to touch as a silky fabric would be, it’s definitely sexy to look at and feels like you would expect mesh to feel.

Design: All measurements are taken with the set laying flat

The skirt is basically a rectangle piece of fabric that has lace trim down the sides and across the bottom. Along the top of the skirt runs an elastic band that extends past the sides to act as strings for tying the skirt around your waist. The skirt not stretched measures 7.5 inches tall from elastic band to lace trim by 28 inches wide from lace trim to lace trim. The skirt will stretch to double the original measurements. The tie string on each side measures about 16 inches and will stretch to about 26 inches.

The strapless bra would also look like a rectangle piece of fabric except for the small band of elastic that runs around the middle to separate the one “cup” from the other. There is no lace trim on the bra, just elastic that runs around all sides. There are no shoulder straps to this bra, only two straps that run from one side, around your back, and connects to the other side. Each “cup” measures approximately 6 inches from top to bottom at the widest part and 11 inches from the elastic on one side to the elastic in the middle of the bra. As with the skirt, the bra can stretch to almost double the original measurements and return to normal shape. The back straps that connect one side to the other can be adjusted a little. At their longest unstretched size they measure about 8 inches and can stretch to about 13 inches.

All the seams, stitching, and sewing look solid. I don’t see any loose threads on this set and it looks like it will hold up well long term. The skirt and bra each have a white Baci label that has washing instructions on one side and material percentages on the other.

While it may sound simple, don’t underestimate this set. It’s definitely a hot set that is sure to catch your partner’s eye and should hold up well for many future uses.



Sizing: One size fits most (not really), but some stretch

This set is only sold in one size fits most. While I don’t agree that this will fit “most”, I do think this will fit well if you fall in Baci’s size chart. According to Baci, “most” fits the following size criteria:

Size ~ 2-14
Cup ~ B/C
Bust ~ 32”-38”
Waist ~ 24”-32”
Hip ~ 34”-40”
Inseam ~ 35”
Rise ~ 7.5”-8”
Weight ~ 90-160 lb.

Overall, I would say these measurements are accurate. I think to get the best look out of this set you’ll probably want to be in the middle to low end of their ranges. With the stretch this material provides, though, you could be at the end of their ranges and still fit into this set. My wife was towards the end of their bust range and the bra looked uncomfortable for her, but she did fit into it. She was over their waist range and she could still tie the skirt closed, but it does obviously change where the skirt will part on your body.

Storing, Care, and Packaging:

This top came in a clear plastic garment bag. There were no pictures or anything on the packaging.

To store this item you can throw it in a drawer or garment bag like it came in. The material will not crease and will retain its original shape. You can pretty much store it any way you want.

Baci recommends you machine wash this set in warm water and tumble dry in low heat. This set seams to hold up fine to those recommendations, but if you’re concerned about how long it will hold up you can hand wash this set in cold water and then hang it up to air dry. Do not dry clean this set.

I actually really like this product, it just doesn't work for my wife and I. She's not the ideal target for this item, but if you are this would definitely make a great set for you.
