Black garter belt - garters discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by sexy19364

I had bought quite a few new pairs of stockings and I was wondering how to keep them up when I found this black garter belt by Fantasy Lingerie. Most garter belts that I have encountered do not come in plus sizes, so I was super excited to have found these. Normally, I wear a 1X, but it wasn't in stock. I went with a 2X, so it's slightly loose on me, but doesn't roll or shift during wear. The tag on the belt states that it is 100 percent nylon. I find it has quite a bit of stretch to it. Fantasy Lingerie's size chart measures 2X at 37½ - 40½ Waist, 49½ - 51½ Hips. I actually have a hip measurement of 52" and like I previously stated, it almost felt loose - like a pair of comfy sweat pants. The belt is approximately 5½ inches wide, and the garters are approximately 12 inches extended (including the length of the clip) and shorten to about 7 inches (again including the length of the clip).

I actually had quite a difficult time figuring out the clips, but I had never tried a garter belt before. A bit of searching for how-to guides on the internet, and I was ready to go! For anyone else who is as clueless as me, the clip actually slides back. I was expecting it to snap open and closed, so I was pulling on it quite hard, thinking the clips were stuck. As I was wiggling and pulling at them in my futile attempt to open them they seemed very solid and sturdy.

The directions say that you can wash in a machine - I would wash on gentle in a lingerie bag and line or lay flat to dry just to be safe.
