Spandex sheer tattoo pantyhose - hosiery by Leg Avenue - review by Breas

Leg Avenue drew me to the Spandex Sheer Tattoo Pantyhose because I had never seen anything like them before. I don’t have any tattoos, but always wondered what I would look like with one. While the tattoo on these pantyhose is sort of corny, I wanted to try them anyway! The pantyhose are only available in one-size-fits-most, and only with the one tattoo design.

The pantyhose arrived in a thin plastic package with a cardboard insert inside. The front of the packaging states the brand name, product name, and has a photo of a model wearing the pantyhose. The back of the packaging has the same information, and also states the material composition and care instructions.



Inside of the packaging, the pantyhose are wrapped around a rectangular piece of cardboard. The packaging is not ideal for storage. I just keep my pantyhose in my sock drawer with my other pairs of pantyhose.

I rarely wear pantyhose because I can’t stand when the waistband is too tight. I found the waistband on these pantyhose to be quite comfortable. The waistband of these pantyhose unstretched is 8 inches, and stretched as much as I could, 22 ½ inches. The waistband is 1 ¼ inches, and is a double layer of material so it is a bit thick. The packaging states a weight bracket of 90-160lbs for these pantyhose. I’m actually a bit above the highest number in the weight bracket, but they still fit me lovely because of how stretchy they are.

The top part of the pantyhose is a tan colour, and is 7 ½ inches in length unstretched. The tan area covers your bum area and a little bit of the top of your thigh. The rest of the pantyhose is sheer beige. They are made of 85% nylon and 15% spandex. The pantyhose are extremely stretchy. I’m 5’6, and they fit me nicely. I believe any person a few inches taller than me would be able to stretch them to fit as well.



The tattoo on the pantyhose is 4 inches in length, and 2 inches wide when unstretched. When the tattoo is stretched, it does not lose its shape or look faded (at least when I am wearing the pantyhose it doesn’t). I haven’t washed the pantyhose yet, so I am unsure if the tattoo will fade with wash (hopefully not!). The toe area on the pantyhose is slightly thicker then the rest of the pantyhose.



When I was putting the pantyhose on, I noticed that my fingernails were snagging the material. I had to put them on very delicately because I was afraid of ruining them before even getting to wear them once. Like most pantyhose, be careful since they can be snagged very, very easily.

The material of the pantyhose is really comfortable against my skin. I love the feel of them and my partner loves the feel of the outside of the pantyhose on his hands. It was really funny when he first seen them on me because he said to me, “Oh wow, your bad ass! That’s crazy! It really looks like a tattoo”. He was really impressed with them, even more so than I was. He wants me to wear them as much as I can because he loves the look. He said that he couldn’t tell that I am wearing pantyhose and the tattoo looks like it was just freshly made. Like I mentioned before, I don’t have any tattoos so I guess he likes the rebel-look the pantyhose give me (he has lots of tattoos).



The packaging states that the pantyhose should be hand washed in warm water and drip-dried. The pantyhose should not be ironed, and if you need to use bleach on them, use only non-chlorine bleach.

Overall I’m really happy with the pantyhose. They are really comfortable, the tattoo makes them fun, and my partner just loves them on me. I do wish they had different tattoo designs to choose from, but I’m happy with this one. I’m just really hoping that the tattoo doesn’t fade with wash or over time.

I still love these stockings! They have held up well and the tattoo print has not faded or worn off with washing. It's really a shame that the product has been discontinued. I absolutely love them!
