Raspberry Fields cut out chemise - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by Sera26

Packaging
This chemise comes in a simple plastic packaging. Two tags are attached. The first is a standard tag showing a model in the chemise. The other mentions that a proceed of Coquette's Spring/Summer collection will be going towards The Save the Ta-Tas Foundation to fund breast cancer research.




Sizing
This chemise only comes in one size fits most. According to Coquette's size chart an one size fits most item should fit someone who is a size 4-14 and a B cup with a 34-40" bust, 26-32" waist and 36-42" hips. The actual unstretched measurements are 26" bust, 25" waist and 34" hips. It is about 24" long (not including the straps).

I wear a size large or 10-12 in women's clothing and a 36C bra. As I am at the higher end of the measurements on this piece and the fabric is very stretchy I was not worried about it fitting. I was very happy to find that it fits me, snugly, but hey that's hot. I was a bit apprehensive when I first put this on but I soon grew to be very fond of it. The bust does not have any type of support. At first I felt like this chemise made my chest look a bit droopy from the front. After wearing it for a while though I was fine with the lack of support.

Material & Care Information
This chemise is made of 90% nylon and 10% spandex. It is supposed to be hand washed and hung to dry. I hate hand washing and since I had already decided to try to wash the matching panties in the washing machine I added this as well. I added some other similar colored clothing to make a very small load and washed it on the gentle cycle. I then did lay it out to dry. Washing it this way did not cause any damage to the fabric.

I really wanted this chemise as well as the rest of the Raspberry Fields line from Coquette as soon as I saw them. So I promptly chose the bustier, panties and this chemise. I did not even realize how visually interesting the cut of the dress was until I received it. It's fantastic. The front has an awesome sideways triangular cutout on each side. The back is basically open aside from a bandeau style at the top.



What the cut reminds me of is the dress that Julia Roberts wears as a hooker at the beginning of Pretty Woman. I wouldn't think that style would suit me but it totally does.

I do want to mention that the top is completely unlined so that is why I added the roses over my chest in the above photos. I couldn't see any nipple when I looked at the photos but I wanted to take precaution just in case. It also looks a bit bulgy since I had the matching panties on underneath, which are slightly snug. Due to the nature of this fabric it does show any lumps or bumps that you may have.
