Maid for fun - costume discontinued by Espiral - review by *Ashley*

I am a huge fan of lingerie. There is always something fun about dolling up. The Maid for Fun costume is Manufactured from Espiral, who has a lot to offer when it comes to getting dolled up. This outfit is great for fantasy play or a fun costume party. I actually paired this with a black & white Fluffer tickler which was quite fun. It added to the experience. I also paired mine with the black Thigh highs with ruffles and bows. The black thigh highs looked just as good with this piece, as the white ones worn by the model. This costume comes with a 1 piece dress, wrist cuffs and the head band. The feather duster and tights you have to add yourself.


The head piece: I love this little detail. The head band itself is made of plastic. It's sturdy but I'm sure with time and carelessness it can break. The plastic band has white lace with a black satin strip going horizontally. This wasn't too uncomfortable for me. The head band stayed on pretty well. Worn too long though and it'll start to hurt behind your ears. It would help if the plastic band had some soft material where it meet's your skin. You can fix this by putting the head band on at an angel. That's so the plastic ends are not digging behind your ears, instead it'll rest within your hair line.

The wrist cuffs: They are made of white satin with a black sewed on button. The same button on the skirt. The buttons are not actually to be used because they are held together by velcro. As much as the wrist cuffs add to the costume they are quite the pain in my experience. My wrist measure out to be 5.5 inches round. I ordered a Small. These cuffs are hard to keep on. The velcro scratches at my wrist when I wear them. So I don't wear them long, if at all. Over all I like the look of these cuffs with this costume. They are painful to keep on and enjoy. Unless you like the feel of sandpaper on your wrists that is.

The dress: This solid, black and white, one piece dress is very comfortable to be in. The dress is made of 97% nylon and 3% elastic. The material consists of lace, nylon and spandex. This is something you wouldn't mind wearing around after a frisky round of naughtiness, or a fun night out at a costume party. Needless to say it is very comfortable. The dress is fitted through the torso and flares out at the bottom.

The bottom style is a black shiny mini skirt with white sewed on packets. The pockets are not for actual use, other than looks. The matching buttons to the wrist cuffs is a cute detail. The mini skirt is a little bit shorter in the back than it is in the front. I'm 5'4 and this was just enough to tease those around you with your sweet ass cheeks and long looking legs.

The top of the dress is stretchy enough for you to just slip right into. I love the short sleeves. They are comfortable, stay where they should and adds coverage without losing it's sexiness. If you find this dress too tight to squeeze on; you can loosen the back lace-up lingerie closure the the front chest area. This top has a sexy low cut top. There is white lace sown up around your bosoms and down the center of your torso. This helps enhance your ladies while giving a slimming look to your torso area. This is helpful for you smaller chest ladies. This top feature helps show off cleavage and add to your sex appeal. There is no underwire or boning. Even though this wasn't a problem for me this dress offer's no support; so you may want to pear this with a favorite bra to wear underneath.

Care Instructions: On the box it came in it states that the piece should be washed separately and drip dried. Bleaching will damage this outfit. I love this costume too much to try and ruin it. So I just hand wash it in cold water and hung to dry. This dress is very durable and with the proper care I foresee this lasting for awhile. It hangs nicely with little to no wrinkles.

Size chart for Espiral lingerie- Small: Bust 34", Waist 25", Hip 34". Medium: Bust 36", Waist 27", Hip 36". Large: Bust 38", Waist 29", Hip 38". XLarge: Bust 40", Waist 31", Hip 40".

I am a petite girl. I'm in a size 0 or 1 pants. For that reason I went with the small, and was very satisfied. The dress fit snug with some more room to stretch. Since I am a small I have the fear to getting lost in clothing; Maybe not me as much as my boobs. This was very flattering to my A/B cup. Being a small framed and chested individual no underwire was needed, as this dress hugged me just perfectly. The accessories added just the right touch for that playful maid look. My only complaint and disappointment is that the cuffs are too tight to enjoy.

Scoring~ From 1-5 stars: The head band is a 4 star. I do love the head piece, but it could be more comfortable. Something to make it more easy behind the ears. The wrist cuffs are a 2 star. I love it on the model. When it comes to me wearing it, it's not enjoyable. It's hard to make fit. When I do get it to stay on the velcro scratches me, making it hard to keep on. The dress is a 5 star. I absolutely love this piece. It is something you could have fun cleaning around the house in and remain comfortable.

All in all I LOVE this piece. To rate it all together; I'll have to give it a 4 out of 5 because of the disappointing cuffs.
