I was very excited to get the Lover's Thong, I had two ideas of how I planned to use it. One of course was during sex with my husband, the second was on my own, to wear during the day to keep my arousal level up during every day chores.

So, I figured I'd try it on my own first, so I pulled it out of the box and adjusted the straps to a size I thought would fit me. The straps that go around my waist were fine, I could have made them either smaller, or larger if I needed to, but I didn't have to. The strap that went up my crack, however, did not adjust to a small enough strap for my liking. I wanted it to be tight enough to hold the beads against my clit, and that just wasn't happening.

When I put it on I also discovered that the beads didn't line up properly for using it for sex. It also didn't line up to using it on its own for arousal. As I wore it, I also discovered that the straps, especially where they attached to other parts, were very scratchy and irritating. So I decided that I wouldn't be using it on my own, but I may as well try it for what it was intended for, sex.

I decided it would be easier for positioning purposes for me to be on top. I have to say by this time I was annoyed with wearing the thong, (it had been on for about an hour) and I wasn't really expecting much. In fact I was pretty sure that I was going to have to remove the thong in order to have enjoyable sex.

Turns out, it wasn't that bad. As I said, I was on top, got the thong positioned and went to town. While it didn't provide a LOT of extra stimulation, I could tell there was a little extra feeling down there. My husband, (when asked) said it was "ok". We did notice however, that both of us came a lot quicker than we normally do during sex. I was worried about my hair getting pulled (I don't shave down there) but that didn't happen.

One thing that I wish was either on the box or on a sheet of paper in the box is washing instructions. There are no washing instructions included. What I did, in order to play it safe, was hand washed with hot water and soap. I rinsed well, and let it air dry on a towel.

I plan to try it out a few more times, with me on bottom. I'm hoping the scratchiness will go away as it's washed more.

Overall, it's an ok toy, but definitely not something I'd use a lot. I won't be replacing it once it wears out. I like the idea of the toy, but the execution just wasn't there.
