Industrial net stockings - stockings discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by ~LaUr3n~

Wow, what a deal! After having such a great experience with these, I wouldn't mind having them in a few more colors!

*Contents/overview:

This is a set of industrial net, closed toe, stockings. Industrial net means that the net holes are wider than fishnet. They do not have a "control top" for the thighs, so they will most likely not stand up on their own. They are meant to be used with another lingerie item that has garters e.g. garter belts and corsets.

*Material:

These stockings are made of 92% nylon and 8% spandex. The toes are reinforced with a thicker nylon. The spandex allows for extra stretch adding to the stretch from the industrial net design.

*Design/craftsmanship:

These are cheap, but they don't feel cheap. They feel great when worn and are not itchy or scratchy. The reinforced toe is great because it will help these last longer. They are not good for open toed shoes though. When attached to garters, they stand up well and don't rip. they stretch out to fit you, but when unworn they go back to their original shape. The industrial net is pretty thick, much thicker than traditional fishnet, which is harder to rip.

*Cleaning/care/storage:

Cleaning industrial nets can be tricky. Best way to clean them is by hand washing them and hanging them to drip dry. If you have to put them in a washer machine, put them in a pillow case, laundry sock, or other fabric sack to prevent them from snagging on the machine or other things. Dry on delicate and don't leave in longer than 10 minutes. It doesn't take longer than that.

When storing, just make sure they are not in a moist area. Nothing special needed here.

*Sizing:

These are total win! The packaging says 90-160 pounds but I think they could fit much more. At 90 pounds they will be much more loose and gather at more of a point, like on the model. If you have meatier legs, like me (14 years of professional dance, thank you!) they will be more level. My thighs are about 24" around and I was VERY comfy. I would say that these could fit around 28" and still be comfortable. I had my bf help stretch them to measure this.

I also measured the length of my legs. Mine seem to be about 31" long. I had plenty of stretch room. When I stretched the stockings they went to 40" comfortably without too much effort. So...I conclude these would work on a lot of women. Perhaps a lot more than the usual set that companies claim to fit into 90-160lbs. Usually it's more like 90-120 lol.

*Conclusion: I'm giving these 5 stars. They fit great and feel great, too. The reinforced toe means they will last longer for me. They don't work well with open toed shoes, but hell, I'd be willing to change my shoes to wear these!

I am very impressed with how well these are holding up especially for being so inexpensive. They are not tearing or fraying in anyway. I continue to wash them in a pillow case and they have gone through the washer 3 times. I drip dry and have had no problems with de-forming.
