Not one, but two!

I am happy that with this corset I have the option of having wearing the pretty light pink side or black satiny side. I feel a bit bad about paying about $60 for a corset that has plastic boning though. The thong and thigh highs are a miss for me, but the corset is not bad at all.

extremely useful review
I had been wanting a nice overbust corset since I only have some underbusts, so when I saw this one on EF and saw that it was reversible, I was interested. Yes, this corset can be worn on either side. The outside is done in pink brocade fabric, and the inside is satiny black fabric. The pink fabric is a very light pink that almost has a bit of a gold sparkle to it when turned in the right light, but I would not call it metallic by any means.

One problem that I ran into when buying this was that I read that it goes by bust size. DO NOT ORDER THIS CORSET ACCORDING TO YOUR BUST SIZE, GO BY YOUR WAIST! I wasn't sure of this, since typically corsets are bought by waist size or sometimes smaller depending on the fit you are looking for and if you are waist training. I choose to trust what I had read, so I ordered a size 38, instead of a 32 (which my waist is). When I received it, I was so excited to try it on. I put it on and hooked all the hooks in the front...and it was huge. I tried to lace it as tight as I could, but no amount of lacing could compensate for the fact that it was hanging off of my chest. I had to send it back and wait to receive the 32 I exchanged it for.

The 32, appropriate for my waist size, fits nicely. Here is as it was packaged. It comes with a hanger that has the Dreamgirl logo on it, which it nice. Here it is laid flat still on the hanger. This is one of the tags that came on it, a reminder that it is made to be reversible. This photo shows off the lacing and the pink fabric really well. The corset is 56% polyester, 42% cotton, and 2% elastane. It is suggested that it be hand washed in cold water and line dried. Here is a close-up of one of the detachable garters, all plastic, no metal bits. One thing about this corset is that it has plastic boning and I prefer metal boning. Here are some photos of me wearing it with the pink side showing. Here are some photos of the back, sorry they aren't as good as I would want them to be but I didn't have anyone to help me take them.

I had a bit of a hard time trying to do and undo the hooks when wearing it with the black side showing. The black side is satiny black fabric, which is really nice and can go with a lot of outfits. Here is a photo of me wearing it with the black side showing. However, there is one little thing about wearing it on that side...the fabric ties that are sewn on that side for hanging the corset! They are definitely noticeable when wearing it on that side. I cut them off with care to not damage the corset and it looks fine, but it is a bit silly that they are there in the first place when this is marketed as reversible.

The thong is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, the instructions for it are hand wash in cold water and line dry. I don't like the thong, it is uncomfortable to wear because it's too short. It's not really too small, but too short. It's just a really awkward fit. I don't like the thigh highs at all. When I took them out of their package I thought they looked short, and they are. They are like awkwardly short thigh highs, or knee highs that are slightly too long, as you can see here. I am tall and my legs are long, but not that long! I have always been able to wear regular thigh highs comfortably and they've pretty much always fit me well. I don't think I'll ever wear this pair, I have much nicer hosiery than this.

I am excited to wear this out with a pair of jeans, on either side, it would look great. This is a lovely piece of lingerie for the bedroom, but can also be worn with an outfit and be dressed up or down.
Follow-up commentary
I still like this, but I like it less. I really do wish it had metal boning instead of plastic boning. Also, I noticed that it became a bit uncomfortable after wearing it out with my a pair of pants all day. Upon taking it off, it had dug into my skin and left a bunch of marks around my waist where it was digging it. It is a corset, I was wearing it tightly as it is meant to be worn, and it was enough that it was comfortable and I put some cortisone over some over them. It didn't break my skin or anything, but I guess the fabric dug into me in many places. I have worn other corsets and not had this problem, I believe plastic boning has a lot to do with it. I got this corset with a gift card that I had received, and honestly have wished I saved it and waited to buy something else. I like this, but I don't think is worth $59.99.
