Black garter belt - garterbelt by Fantasy Lingerie - review by 12345678

I've been on the hunt for a garter belt that works for me for a while. I've found that they either roll down on me, don't hold onto stockings well enough, or have awkward strap lengths. This garter belt from Fantasy Lingerie stays up on its own really well and has sturdy clips, so it exceeds almost all the expectations I had. My only complaint here is that in order to really support a pair of stockings, it could use a few more clips. The length is also a little strange, but I am on the shorter side-- for a taller person the strap length might be perfect.

The garter belt is 90% nylon and 10% lace. It looks very lacy and feminine, I find it to be very pretty. It does have some stretch to it, so if you are worried about not quite fitting in the size you ordered, you have some wiggle room, so to speak. The belt does have a pretty thick band which I enjoy because it not only stands up without rolling, it also provides a little toning if you're concerned about your midsection. The clips are your standard plastic garter clip. They can be hard to figure out but these clips are sturdy and won't snap, which is helpful if you need them to hold up your hosiery. There's also a bow in the front center of the piece.

The belt's available from Eden in three colors. The black only comes in 2x or 3x. I ordered the 2x, I'm 5'5" and wear a size 16 in most US brands. The size chart for Fantasy Lingerie states the 2x fits these measurements: 37½ - 40½ Waist, 49½ - 51½ Hips. The belt is four inches long, which may be too long for someone who's looking for a string type garter belt (which Eden also sells).

This garter belt can be washed in a machine, but personally I would line dry it instead of putting it in a commercial dryer.
