Embroidered ecstasy chemise set - chemise and panty set by Coquette - review by Jimbo Jones

As I continue looking for ways to help my partner feel sexy in the bedroom, I came across the Embroidered Ecstasy Chemise Set of lingerie. Don't get me wrong here, I love the way she looks, but sometimes it's nice to be able to put pretty wrapping on a beautiful gift, and I like to give her that option. Plus, not only is it pretty, I thought that it had the features she would desire to work well for her. First of all, the right size was available (XL), and sometimes that is the trickiest part. Secondly, it was a little more substantial than some other pieces, and she generally likes that. Also, she prefers some support from her bras and lingerie, and it had underwire cups, so I figured we were set. Unfortunately, although it all worked out in the end, it wasn't quite as smooth a journey as I expected.

The main chemise part of this lingerie set looks just as good in real life as it does in the pictures. The embroidered cups and hemline are beautiful and the sheer fabric for the main body is very sensual and leaves a little to the imagination particularly in low light. It draped very well over her figure and nicely accented her beautiful curves. The problem really had to do with the underwire in each of the cups. They were annoyingly poking her as soon as she put it on. I tried to bend the tips of the underwire away from her body to see if that would help, but to no avail. I ended up cutting the end of the fabric and pulling the underwire out of each cup. That helped the piece fit much more comfortably. I thought this would be a detriment to breast support, but once everything is in place and the straps are adjusted properly it still does a decent job of supporting her ample breasts and helping them look their best. She likes the chemise much better after making this alteration, and whatever makes her happy makes me happy. We also both liked how the hemline pulls toward the hip on one side which gives the piece an exciting lower line and draws the eye up toward the main attraction. It really adds to the beauty of the set.

There really isn't a whole lot to say about the g-string. It is not see through material, and it does its job. It is a little tighter than expected. I selected a size that seemed appropriate, given my partner's measurements and using the sizing charts, and it matched what we had received from this manufacturer in the past, but this is the first g-string that we had from Coquette and it didn't have a lot of give to it. My partner was able to put it on, but it wasn't quite as comfortable as she would have liked. This isn't a big deal as the g-string wasn't really embroidered to match the chemise, so any black g-string (or other style panties or no panties at all) would work just as well.

This set of lingerie has very nice features with beautiful embroidery which provides excellent accents to the cups and hemline. The underwire was very disappointing and the panties were a little small, so the set ends up very “middle of the road” as far as lingerie is concerned.
