Marquis de pink bra & garter panty - bra and panty set discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Cori

The Marquis de Pink Bra & Garter Panty set from Fantasy lingerie got me really excited. There was something mesmerizing about the pink and black design. I couldn't wait to order it and wear it for my boyfriend. What I got in the package was rather disappointing. I had very high hopes.

This set includes a bra and garter panties.

The BRA: is made of 100% polyester with exception of the mesh ruffles. It is padded with plastic underwire. The padding is very thin and feels cheap. It has a back clasp with hook and eye closure. The straps are fully adjustable. The bra is adorned with glittery picot trim that can get a tad bit itchy. The tops of the cups are decorated with mesh ruffles and in the middle of the bust is a small black bow. The entire bra is striped with shiny black and hot fuschia/pink.

The PANTIES: is made of 100% polyester with exception of the mesh ruffles. The print is entirely shiny fuschia and black. The panties are adorned with mesh ruffles on both sides and a rather large bow on the top middle of the backside. The panties have glittery picot trim along all the edges. The picot trim can be a little itchy, especially between the legs. The major downfall of these are the fact that there is NO lining whatsoever. Your vajayjay will be right up against the rough seam. Not very fun for extended periods of time.

The garters are made of plastic and rubber and are pretty cheapy. They are at least adjustable.

Sizing: I ordered a small. I wear a 34B and the cups still felt a little bit large but the padding made it not-so-noticeable. The panties were the major problem for me. My back end is larger than my boobies. I typically wear a size 5 in jeans and my waist is 28 inches. The small panties were very snug on me and pinched the fat on my thighs. And the ruffles above the legs only accentuated this.

Care: There is a tag on the side of the bra that says to wash on cold/delicate cycle and to wash separate from dark colors. Line dry and do NOT wring or twist. I have washed mine on cold and I threw mine in the dryer on low/delicate and they came out just fine.

Overall: I still think the set and general design of the set is really cute. But after I factor in the quality and lack of basic functions, and the cheap material I am left with a less-than-awesome set.
