Thigh high silicone nude - hosiery by DreamGirl - review by winterseve

I love these stockings. I got the Nude Thigh High in Plus size. My thighs are 23" around at the largest point. They don't call me thunder thighs for nothing. (Actually one of my nicknames since I was a kid because my thighs are larger when looking at my body proportions.) They come in the standard cardboard packet wrapped in plastic. I love these stockings because they were comfortable and sexy. I forgot they were on at one point. They come in black, nude, and white. I am definitely going to get more in nude and black. The patterned lace top is thick enough that they shouldn't roll on most legs. Measuring in at 3 1/2" it isn't too wide that it makes you feel like a granny needing extra support. I am short, so I'm confident women even a foot taller than my 5'4" can easily extend these beauties.


The silicone lining is not pinching and holds better than on stockings I've paid double for. They are versatile and stay up well! I had plenty of room and know other larger women should feel comfortable as well. A seam does extend down the lace top, but not down the leg. It's be nice if there was a version made the same way with a sexy seam down the entire leg, though.


These are my new favorites, and for $11.99 when they aren't on sale comparable to some of Victoria's Secret's thigh highs. I will pick these over theirs any day! The sheer leg is sexy and gives a bit of warmth. I am pale, but these thigh highs give me a good nude color without making me look strange in skin tone. They can be worn with or without garters, which is partially why I ordered them. They can go well with any babydoll, teddy, or nighty as well as under business wear for work and daytime activities. The toes are not too thin and I don't think they'd be horrible with open toed shoes. They will snag, just like other pantyhose and stockings. Wash them on gentle or hand wash cycle in the washer if you must (I suggest a lingerie bag - Bed, Bath and Beyond has them cheap) or hand washing them in a tub or sink with light detergent. Hang or line dry.

After taking pictures of the stockings I quickly put them on. My mother asked me what on earth I was doing and I said "research". I was so comfortable I left them on for an hour before, regretfully, taking them off for my shower. I can't wait to wear these for my husband with my new lingerie. He loves it when I can wear pantyhose or stockings. I love the way they feel when I rub my legs together or rub my legs down his. Taking them off is just as sensual as keeping them on. Wearing these has made me more conscious of my thighs and actually made me a bit wet just wearing them and the connotation they send. I feel confident, after a little testing, that I can wear these during sex or to work/church/a wedding/out without worrying about them rolling or falling.

I still love these stockings and wear them often. They look and feel good. The most difficult thing, though, is trying not to snag them when we get frisky. I still highly suggest these and I can't wait to get more.
