Omg So Comfy!

The naughty little people on this naughty chemise are sure to have you chuckling for a while. And once that novelty has worn off, you're left with a very comfortable night shirt that you can also wear out in public, assuming you don't mind people seeing "obscene" illustrations on your clothing.

extremely useful review
I don't often start a review by saying that I really can't find anything of substance wrong with something, but I'm doing it now. I tried to come up with bad things to say, but I really can't come up with anything that isn't a personal preference issue.

So I guess I'll start with the minimal packaging. I think there was a small plastic hanger, and there was definitely a large plastic bag. A small cardboard tag was safety pinned to the side that listed the size, and you can find not only that information but also the materials and care instructions on a tag located on the side of the chemise inside. This piece is 50% Cotton and 50% Polyester and according to the instructions should be hand washed and hung to dry. To me, this feels a lot like a legitimate shirt, so I would be ok with washing it in cold water and maybe even running it through my dryer, but please so do at your own risk.

I got this in a size small, which to the current sizing chart on Eden, Coquette says that I should be a size 4-6, with a B cup, a 34-36" bust, 26-28" waist, and 36-38" hips. Coquette's new sizing chart also agrees with that fortunately. Personally I'm about 5'2, I weigh about 120, around my bust measures 32" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 29" waist and measure about 34" around the top of my hips and 38" around my butt and wear a good solid B cup. This fit me perfectly everywhere; falling high enough that I could wear it around the house without feeling like I was exposing myself, but short enough that I could toss on a pair of jeans and wear it as a long shirt.

So there's one piece to this, and it's this super awesome chemise. It looks a lot like a really long cami, but one could even call it a cami dress. Along the edge of the whole top is a white satiny trim, and the adjustable straps feel like a ribbon. Mine measures about 21 1/2" from the armpit to the hem, 15" across the bust when laid flat, about 18 1/2" across the bust when stretched, and goes from about 20" unstretched across the bottom of the hem to about 30". There is no breast support to speak of, but if you really want some you can easily add a bra since there's no underwire or anything like that.

Part of the beauty of this piece is the utter simplicity of the design. As you can see from above, there's not much to the actual chemise. The real thing that draws eyes are the little cartoon characters. At first glance, you see that there are a lot of little people, but whatever. Upon closer inspection, you'll find a total of 28 uniquely naughty people in a repeated pattern; ranging from the guy with the spiky hair and all the piercings to the older couple to an emo kid, a skeleton, and even a zombie. There are of course plenty more, and they're all worth a little chuckle.

As for the overall comfort, it's definitely up there. The main body feels like you're wearing a plan o'l T-shirt. The ribbons present the only real problem that I could find aside from the location of the tag. The silky straps feel nice, but also don't hold the adjuster clip as well as they could. The straps are overall functional, but I would have picked a more "traditional" material for them. The rest of it is just about perfect. I found that I could easily sleep in this, but it did ride up to be closer to around my waist. This didn't really bother me, but may bother some.

Here are some pictures for you: a closeup of the people, and my usual front, side, back pictures.

Experience
This is quite possibly one of the best things I could have ever bought. The only problems I've had with it so far were the slightly itchy tag and the straps being finicky. But the straps weren't that big of a deal overall, more of a minor annoyance that I had to keep rearranging them.

My friends and family got a kick out of the little people as well. I was dyeing my friend's hair and he had a straight view of my stomach. Where he promptly noticed "oh hey, that spiky haired guy has a penis!" And so does the sock monkey! And an old couple? And everybody at Denny's thought they were hilarious as well. The beauty, to me, is that they're not obviously naughty at first. I would definitely buy more than one of these in just about any design you could make.
