Stretch mesh bralette, garter belt & panty - bra and panty set by Fantasy Lingerie - review by Red Vinyl Kitty

I was really excited about receiving this lingerie. It looks so cute in the picture, and I usually fit into One Size things. Generally, one size fits from 90-160 pounds. I know that can vary from manufacturer, but this item doesn't have any kind of sizing or cup suggestions on the box at all, so it really is just guess work. At 143 pounds, I had hoped this would fit. Sadly, no such luck.

Straight out of the box, the first thing I noticed was how soft the material was! I really wish this set fit me, because the mesh would have felt so nice on, not scratchy like many mesh items can be.

This set comes with three pieces, the bralette, a thong, and a garter belt. The bralette which is mainly mesh, has three bows and two ruffles in the front. One bow is in the middle, and two bows are at the bottom of the straps. The strawberry colored mesh is surrounded by white piping on all sides. Also, there is no way to "unhook" it. It is all one piece, and you must slide it on over your head.

Personally, the bralette didn't fit me at all. I'm a 36D chest, and while the top fit me around my ribs, the cups were a nightmare. Not only were my breasts spilling out of the cups on all sides, but no matter how much you tighten the straps, the top just looked like a saggy mesh mess. I highly recommend this top for people with a B cup or less; any bigger, and it just isn't going to fit you right.

The thong is your standard style thong, with about an inch of fabric in the back, and white piping all around. Unfortunately, the thong did not fit me either. :( I have a 33 waist, and a 40 hip, and while I DID manage to get it on, it was way too tight and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this bottom for anyone with a waist bigger than 30 inches, or a hip bigger than 38. It will likely fit a lot smaller though, because the thong measures about 10 inches across.

The garter belt is the same red mesh and white piping as the other two pieces, with two rows of ruffles on the bottom, and four bows right at the top of the four garter clips. Sadly, I could not even get this garter belt past mid-thigh on me. Unstretched, the garter belt measures 13 inches, but it can stretch to 15. Weather you are planning to wear this piece on your waist or hips, the maximum stretch on it is 30 inches.

Cleaning of this set is easy, since you can just throw them in the washer on warm, and then lay flat to dry. I didn't notice any shrinkage or pilling when I did this. You could also hand wash them and dry flat as well. Do not twist or wring.

Another thing this set has going for it, is that the material is really slim, so it would be great for a weekend getaway where you don't have much space in your suitcase for bulkier lingerie. The material rolls up quite nicely, and is quite compact even with all those fluffy ruffles. ;)

All in all, this is a cute set, with high quality materials, but it didn't fit me at all. I would definitely not call this item a one size fits most, but using my measurements you should be able to determine if it will fit you. I am usually a size 12 in lingerie sets, so if you're a 12 or bigger, you may want to find a different set. The one major plus to this set, is that the mesh is very soft and lovely! From the picture on the box, I was really expecting it to be scratchy like many sets can be, but not this one. The material felt wonderful in my hands, it is a shame it didn't work out for me. :(

This outfit still doesn't fit me, although I've lost more weight since writing this. The Stretch Mesh 3 piece garter belt set is probably a better fit for the teeny tiny among us.
