Paisley lace teddy - teddy discontinued by Seven 'til Midnight - review by shotjuan

The Paisley lace teddy by Seven 'til Midnight is a very small piece of lingerie. It is advertised as a one size fits most, however by "fits most" I think the manufacturers meant most who are petite. I think this teddy would even be too small for some who take a size medium.

-Care-

For storage, it is best to hang teddies in your closet. They make specific hangers for them that are covered with a silky material and padded. There are no care instructions inside the package, however I would recommend hand washing to maximize the life of it. If you do decide to machine wash use the delicate cycle with cool water. Mesh lingerie bags are also helpful as they can keep this from getting caught on anything. For drying I would only hang dry.





-Material-

The Paisley Lace Teddy is made with 90% Nylon & 10% Spandex. The 10% spandex does not add much to the stretchiness. This teddy is delicate, so I would not recommend trying to stretch it too much because it will rip. The whole teddy is see-through. The lace is soft and I could imagine it being comfortable. I really liked the feel of the back. It's really soft and stretchy. The ruffles were a nice touch as well. I really like fishnet and the stockings in the picture on the website. They were definitely my favorite part, however they were not shown on the box and not included inside.

-Measurements and Fit-

From the top of the cup to the bottom of the crotch snap measures about 25" long. The bust measures 12" across and has about an inch of comfortable stretch to it. The waist and hip area measures 11" across with minimal stretch. The halter straps are 24" long each. The crotch snap, on the loosest hook, measures 9" from front to back and only stretches to about 10" comfortably. The garters can extend from 5" to 9" with about an inch of comfortable stretch.

This teddy did not fit who I got it for. She tried wearing it, but it was too short and her boobs kept falling out. There is no chest support, so if you have cleavage this will not work very well for you. The crotch snap thingy wouldn't quite snap for her either. I could see it being uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time with the crotch snapped.

She did manage to make it work as a regular top by tucking the crotch snap in, but it is still pretty tight and hard for her to wear for long periods of time.

This was a learning experience for me. If this teddy would have fit her, it would have been incredibly sexy. Unfortunately it did not. I definitely will never get another piece of lingerie for someone on my own again. Guys, When getting your lady something sexy to wear, do your homework!
