-Packaging-

I was excited to be reviewing the Temptress Long Sleeve Teddy by “Seven 'til Midnight”. My partner and I have only recently begun to order lingerie online with some varied results. As you never get to see the item before it arrives and you can never be sure how it will look as sometimes pictures can be misleading. It arrives in simple cardboard sleeve type box. The product is modelled on the front with a front view and the back shows the back of the model. There is also an authentication hologram sticker with the words “Seven 'til Midnight” written on it and the word “AUTHENTIC” when to tilt it. Overall it is decent enough packaging. The model on the front is not too overly done up with makeup nor is she doing any kind of vulgar pose that can sometimes accompany lingerie packaging so that was nice. There is a small plastic viewing window on the front so you can see the material inside.

The box opens out at the side for the outfit to be removed. It is wrapped around a stiff piece of plain white cardboard and held in place with small plastic clip hooks.

-Material/Specifications-

The outfit is made from 90% Nylon and 10% Spandex. It is designed to be a one size fits all but to be honest I think it would only fit someone with a generally smaller frame. Without being stretched it measures approximately 25 inches from crotch to shoulder and about 26 inches on the hips. It is lace patterned throughout with just a 3 inch gusset where it is a solid piece of material. It is hard to adequately explain dimensions as the material does stretch a fair bit. It fits my partner fairly well and would do a couple of sizes upwards. She is a U.K size 8 on top (U.S 6). It was a little loose on the shoulders which meant it fell down a little bit but it mostly fit fine. It is a single piece that is put on like underwear and pulled up. It is low cut on the back but has a single length of elastic material to link the two arms and keep the garment held on the shoulders.

A nice surprise for us was that it comes with 4 removable garter straps. These attach by means of tiny nylon loops sewn into the base of the outfit. They are quite stretchy and also fully adjustable. These are great if you want to wear stockings with the outfit as they look really sexy.

It has two small labels which are situated in the centre of the back. They are made from a soft satin-like material and so don’t itch. This is a plus as they are sewn into the seam of the garment and may be difficult to remove without damaging the item. One label simply has the Seven ‘Til Midnight logo on it and the other has care instructions and material information.

-Care-

You can tell from the look and feel of it that this is a somewhat delicate piece of clothing. As such you should only ever handwash it with cold water. It is not suitable for tumble drying and should be left to dry on a clothes line. The type of material it is means it will not need to be ironed and this should be avoided as it mill likely damage the material. Also it is not suitable for bleaching.

-Wear-

As I mentioned I was unsure just how this would look in person as sometimes photos don’t do things justice or conversely they can make something look much better than it is in person. I am happy to say that out of the packaging this looks better than I imagined it would. When worn by my partner it looks incredibly sexy. The lace effect all over makes it great for teasing. As described by my partner the material is quite comfortable to wear and does not scratch or irritate like some cheaper lingerie items. The one small downside was that it slipped off her shoulders a little bit but this was a minor issue.

-Summary-

Overall I would have to say my partner and I are very pleased with this gorgeous piece of clothing. It is worth saying that while it is advertised as a one size fits all I don’t think it would fit very many sizes upward (particularly the arms in terms of how tight they would be). But it works well for us. The removable garter straps are a nice touch as it makes it more versatile, a good pair of stockings can completely change the look of the outfit. Likewise if you don’t want to wear stockings they can be removed and don’t hang out of the end of the outfit. The material is soft to the touch and doesn’t irritate the skin. The labels are even softer which is great as they would prove difficult to remove. So if you like lace patterns, sexy lingerie and want to show off some skin without going completely nude then I recommend this.
