Floral lace teddy with stockings - teddy and stockings set discontinued by Leg Avenue - review by Bonanza Jellybean

This lace teddy from Leg Avenue is lovely in person. The lace is soft and stretchy polyester, which is nice because lingerie in a low price range is often scratchy. The teddy style is very sexy, and the lace-up front gives it a naughty look. I would have loved to make this piece a staple - or at least an experiment - in my bedroom; BUT, it just didn't fit comfortably. To give you some perspective of the way this item fits, I'm 5'6 and have an hourglass shape with large bust, thick hips, and a belly. I wear a 12-14, a size which falls into the new average. The main problem with the fit is that the teddy was a little too short on my torso and the fabric pulled down to compensate - not a look or feeling I particularly like. Call me an irate chubster, but a product labeled "One Size Fits Most" had ought to fit a wide range of bodies. If you're smaller than me or wear your weight differently, this pretty set will probably fit you.

Onto the specs:

The package comes with a v-neck teddy, a thin sateen ribbon with which to lace it, and a pair of matching thigh-high stockings. As the product page says, panties are not included (but honestly, you don't need them). The teddy has little loops in the front that the wearer can lace up to their desired level of cleavage. The stockings fit me a little below mid-thigh, and they slipped down after I took about five steps (granted, this set isn't designed to be worn for long periods of time, but I like to strut my stuff for a minute or two before the lingerie comes off. And then, I'd rather not have it fall off on its own!).

The bottom line is that this set is pretty and well-made for its price, but shoppers should consider the "One Size" tag before buying.
