I bought this costume to wear last Halloween as Dorothy. I had recently watched the Wizard of Oz due to its re-release. It is very sexy. It is also incredibly comfortable, easy to get on and easy to wear. My problem area is that I have a straight up and down figure. I do not have a noticeable waist but this outfit gave me one. It fit me true to size. The puffed sleeves were comfortable and not at all binding. It was made well. I never worried about it getting damaged. It also was not hot like many other costumes I have owned in the past.

The thing is it is not an obvious costume. You have to explain what you are. This could also be a plus because you could wear it on different occasions with different accessories and hairstyles. I did my hair just like Dorothy with a simple but seductive eye and red lips. I also carried a stuff dog but could not find any red shoes so I could not pull it off as well as I had hoped.

Men agreed with me very quickly when I told them what I was. I think they do not really care as long as you look hot. A drunk girl actually argued with me about who I was supposed to be though. You also probably will not win any costume contests. I did not expect to anyway though.

I have not had the chance to wear this in the bedroom for anyone but it seems like it could play up to some different male fantasies. I would usually wear something a bit more obvious that does not cover as much but this could be something different.

I would buy this costume again. It is fun and versatile.
