Perfect pleasure chemise - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by TexasBrat

I've been looking at lots of different nighties, and found that Dreamgirl had some very sexy selections. Opening up this gorgeous chemise, I noticed it came wrapped in a clear plastic bag, and on a good sturdy black hanger that allows you to hang the chemise and thong on it at the same time. There was no unpleasant smell to either garment, and it wasn't tangled on itself, but ready to hang up or put on.

The material contents of both the thong and chemise are: 90% nylon, 10% spandex. I was pleased to feel that the soft orchid-purple nylon was of good quality. I LOVED the color. Purple is my favorite color, but some purples look somewhat cheap or gaudy when it comes to lingerie. But I just loved this color!

It did not feel cheap at all and won't fall apart after the first wearing. The lacy bodice had the black stitched into the netting, instead of just appliquéd on it. The center panel of it is solid, but the rest is more of a netting material, fantastic for that peek-a-boo effect.

The straps at the top are adjustable to accommodate almost any bosom/shoulder. The garter belts are removable and adjustable. They have little black ribbon accents on the ends where you clip them on to the thigh highs (thigh highs not included).

On the back of the chemise, there are 2 black ties that criss-cross very much like a corset. However, these are not really meant to be adjustable, since the bows tying them are pretty short, with no extra length. At the bottom is a cute ruffle that is made out of the netted nylon for that added feminine touch.

The thong is all purple, with stretchy elastics, perfect for a hippy gal like myself. Since this chemise is so slinky, with no little pieces sticking out anywhere that would catch on anything, this would be perfect under almost any outfit.

I purchased the 1X-2X size. Generally, I'm a curvaceous size 14. I was glad I ordered that size, since, typically, lingerie tends to run smaller than clothing sizes. Slipping this on was easy. It covered my 38C breasts beautifully, and wasn't stretched to the extreme over my generous hips. The thong fit well as well. I loved how silky it felt, and, even though I may have some body issues when it comes to seeing myself in the mirror, I looked at myself and thought I was smokin' hot! Just a few adjustments on the shoulder straps, and I was one sexy momma if I do say so myself. I felt very sexy!

I've worn this item a few times, and washed it in a lingerie bag, and it's held up very nicely. I get many compliments on it, even though they've seen it before. It's one of my favorite pieces of lingerie.
