Stocks and bondage fuchsia garter slip and thong - chemise discontinued by DreamGirl - review by mpfm

I am perplexed as to where the name for this lingerie-Stocks and Bondage- came from. That sounds kinky to me and this doesn't look like a typical kinky piece. There's no leather or latex. It doesn't come with a whip or crop. I just don't know why it has that name. Perhaps someone can enlighten me. What it is is a gorgeous piece of lingerie. It is a very bright fuchsia pink with black pinstripes. There is nothing subtle about the color. It screams look at me, and don't you dare look away. The cups are made with a black floral lace, and the same lace is used at the hem. I really like the fuchsia and black color combination. It is fun and dramatic at the same time. The back has a mesh heart with ruffle trim over the bottom. After reading a few comments on the product page, I see several think it is oddly placed and ruins the look of the piece. I was neutral myself on it, but my husband loves my butt, and I thought he might think the mesh heart was genius. I ordered the piece because I thought my husband would like it, but I wasn't too sure if I would. Since it was labeled a slip, I figured it would be form fitting. I am not usually real fond of tight pieces. I like twirly babydolls and gowns the best.

Nevertheless, I ordered it. It arrived on a hanger in a plastic bag. Putting it on I was pleased that it was so comfortable. The lace is soft, the straps didn't dig in anywhere, and the nylon material is soft, silky, and smooth. The bra cups are very supportive. That's important when you have DD breasts. It does hug all my curves. I don't always like things that are form fitting, but this was at least comfortable without feeling tight. The heart was centered at my lower back and just at the tip of my butt. I modeled for my husband and his eyes popped out of his skull. Yes, just like in the cartoons. He immediately declared it the best piece of lingerie I own. According to him the best parts are that it hugs all my curves, accentuates my breasts, and the mesh heart is indeed genius. The piece comes with a matching thong. The thong is visible through the mesh. It's quite a nice visual for the men folk. So, if you are wondering why there is a mesh heart on the back, there it is. Men like to see butts. At least my man does.

Unto some nitty gritty details-

It is 88% nylon, 9% polyester, and 3% spandex. The material is stretchy and comfortable. The lace is soft, not itchy. According to the tag, it should be hand washed in cold water and line dried.

According to the Dream Girl size chart, the 3x/4x should fit someone a size 18-20 with a bust of 48-54, cup DD, waist at 40-44, and hips at 50-56. I am a size 20 with a bust of 46DD, waist 39, and hips 52. I am short at 5'2" and the chemise hits at about mid thigh. It fits exactly as it was designed to do.

This fits very well. The material is stretchy and comfortable and hugs my curves. The cups have an under wire and are very supportive. The straps are adjustable. The piece has 4 detachable garters. I easily hooked them up to a pair of black thigh highs to complete the outfit. The chemise is very well made. I didn't find any stray threads or loose seams. The thong is the same fushia/black pinstripe. It is as comfortable as a thong is. I do not usually wear thongs, but I will probably always wear this one just because of how the thong is visible under the mesh heart. It just adds a nice visual.

Overall I am very pleased with this piece. The purpose of lingerie is to capture the attention of my man and it did that beautifully. I was comfortable at the same time so that works for us. I am sure it will get lots of play time.

This is one of my husband's favorite pieces. It has held up very well with multiple washes. I wish all lingerie was this comfortabe.
