While I have a few lingerie pieces that I flitter around in, this is really the first time I've had a corset.
I normally stick to flowy babydolls of silk and satiny fabrics to hide my flaws. However, when I got this corset, it was love at first sight. With a mass of mesh ruffles and ribbons, it's simply feminine and charming! It has a simply subtle polka dot pattern, with the black on black though, the pattern is subtle, sexy and only noticeable up close.

Coquette is a pretty nice line and I received the corset in a 1x/2x.

I am a dress size 18 and I am a 40D. My waist is 39 inches. My hips are a little bit more “flared” and are at 54 inches. My bust is 43 inches. I fall a little flat in the bust area but that was alright with me.

The Polka Dot mesh corset is an alluring corset made of mesh, ruffles, and pure seduction. I really love the design of this corset. The mesh ruffles and bow brought attention to one of my favorite assets. My breasts were on full display, like a present! There was no underwire for the bust but I had no problem with my girls being perky. I had some extra space in the bust but nothing awful. The boning wasn't at all uncomfortable and instantly cinched my waist some. t was nothing drastic but enough that I admired my vanity in the mirror making kissy faces. I did mention that my hips were alittle wider than their “range”. However, this had no negative impact on my corset-wearing. The corset covered my torso completely and gracefully fell at my hips. The Polka Dot mesh corset measures 18 inches. It was a little constricting there, I could definitely feel the ruffles against my skin but it didn't hurt or leave rashes or anything. It also didn't dig into my skin in anyplace at all. The fabric was very soft and the mesh didn't scratch or irritate my skin. It was amazing. Coquette did very well in the construction of this corset. The Polka Dot mesh corset looks expensive and has wonderful craftmanship. The boning was wonderful and didn't buckle or bend even when I did sit down, which was a bit challenging but I did it! The back features a hook and eye closure with two rows, much like a bra. I kind of preferred this to lacing because the hook and eye I can do alone, whereas the lacing requires a second pair of hands helping. I like that I can do this myself and doll up for my boyfriend solo. One thing I really liked about this corset is the removable garters. These are also quality garters made of metal and plastic. Sometimes when the garters are attached with my thigh-highs the garters are all stretched out and they look so silly squishing into the fatness of my thighs. Not these things, even with my 5'10 stature, with my nice thigh highs, these garters lay flat and quite sexily against my thighs. Hello Sexy Thang!

Care and Maintenance for the Polka Dot Mesh Corset is fairly simple. Mesh can be machine washed at 30 degrees. Mesh/Lace should not be bleached and ironed. It also shouldn't be tumbled and dry cleaned. I would personally hand wash and leave to air dry.

I wish I could say I love it! This is still holding up nicely. I use this corset when I wanna doll up and look like a vixen. I think this is a great buy!
