Poofy Paint Thigh Highs

There's no way to wear these long term and have them be comfortable. The band at the top will cut into most women after about 20 minutes without moving it to be right about the knee. But the poofy netting is very comfortable and soft.

Pros
Thicker netting makes the material feel more durable, Netting is comfortable.
Cons
Lack of reinforced toe, Top band will be too tight for many.

extremely useful review
The low price was what initially drew me to these industrial net stockings from Leg Avenue. I was hesitant to go through with the purchase because of previous experience with similarly priced stockings from Leg Avenue, but I went through with it and while these are by no means my new favorites, I don't regret the purchase.

Some people like to wear their thigh highs for extra arousal before, during, or even after sex. Others like to wear them out and about for an extra sexy feeling to spice up their day. I wouldn't recommend these for extended wear unless you have small thighs and plan on wearing a garterbelt to keep them up though.

These stockings came wrapped around a cardboard insert inside a plastic bag covering with a wraparound insert that tells you what they are, as well as the sizing guide, washing directions, and material list.

These thigh highs are made of 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex. According to the packaging you should hand wash separately, drip dry, and never bleach.

When I first pulled them out of the package I was really impressed. I was expecting a much thinner weave for the netting, and what I got was a really thick fabric. It almost reminds me of puffy paint. Then I got slightly less impressed. The top band is only 2" tall and doesn't have enough reinforcement to keep itself from folding over on itself. The toes aren't anything even resembling reinforced, so this is just another reason why these aren't going to be very good for extended wear. Here's a pictureof the netting up close.

The sizing guide indicates that these are a one size fits most with a weight guide of 90-160 pounds. That's definitely not going to happen. The length isn't going to be an issue for most. I stretched each stocking to end up being about 40" from toe to top. From my heel to where the top of the stocking was supposed to sit is about 25", including my toes at a point, I measure about 31 1/2". I experienced no bunching, which I was worried about based on how stretchy these are. Where you're going to have problems is if your thighs are thicker than 18" around. This is my measurement, and it didn't take very long for the tops to start digging in and feel uncomfortable. I got the tops to stretch to about 8" across when laid flat, so if I had to hazard a guess (I know guessing in reviews is generally frowned upon) I would say that to get the best fit, your thighs should be around 16" around. Unless your thighs are naturally this tiny, please don't do anything to try and reach this size.

For storage you can keep these anywhere you keep the rest of your stockings.
Experience
I knew going into these that they wouldn't be the highest quality ever, but I was still fairly surprised. The thicker weave means the stocking holds up to more abuse, even though you really shouldn't wear them for extended periods of time because your toes are gonna pop out and the tops will dig into your thighs. However if you don't mind the material between your toes and you move the tops down to just above the knee, you should be able to wear these for hours.

The only complaints I had were about the lack of a reinforced toe and the band at the top not being made for the average woman. I know I'm on the smaller side and it really only took about 20-25 minutes before I wanted them off. But the rest of the netting was really comfortable and even when my toes popped out the bottom I didn't feel like I was in any danger of breaking anything.

I was really torn on a rating for these, because the good parts are awesome but the rest just takes it back down so far. I settled on 3 because for most women, short term wear, less than 10 minutes or so, shouldn't be a problem, and everything else was really comfortable.
Follow-up commentary
Because these aren't very comfortable for long periods of wear, they haven't gotten a lot of use. I've worn them a handful of times since my initial review, all for about 10 minutes or so at a time. They ran through the washer and dryer once just fine. They're not bad if you want something for short term wear.

I won't be wearing these out long enough to find out what kind of blisters I could get, but reinforced toes are always nice, and I'm always sad when stockings don't have them.

    Thanks everybody
