Pot hole tube dress - gown by Music legs - review by SMichelle

Basics:
The pot hole tube dress is made by Music Legs Lingerie. It's made in Taiwan, and it's only available in one size fits most. It's available in two colors -- purple, and black. I purchased the black, as the purple was out of stock at the time. The dress does not come with any undergarments.

Material & Care:
The dress is made of 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex. When I first took the dress out, I laughed -- it looked so small! Thankfully, however, the spandex gives this dress a great deal of stretch. It is stretchy both width-wise and lengthwise. It should be noted that the dress is meant to cling -- and that it will, to everyone, no matter what your size!

The material reminds me of a pair of leggings, with the way that it feels. The material is quite thin, but it's opaque. That being said, if you stretch this piece to its max, you're going to find that it becomes slightly sheer.

The material is soft, and it is comfortable for me to wear for extended periods of time.

To care for this dress, you should hand wash it, and then allow it to drip dry.

Sizing:
This item is only available in one size fits most. According to the packaging, one size fits most should fit someone that's between 5" and 5'10" in height. It should also fit someone that weighs between 100 and 175lbs. I personally am 5'6", and am around the middle of the weight chart. I wear a 34d bra, have a 32" waist, and 40" hips.... and this dress does fit me very comfortably.

The dress is VERY long. The dress goes past my knees if I have it fully stretched out. This is a good thing, as it will make the dress accommodate more people. I, personally, bunch the dress up so that it falls at about mid-thigh length, and that looks just fine.

I feel that this dress will easily fit everyone that the size chart says that it will. I like the dress can fit well about the height measurement, as it's so stretchy -- but it also won't look bad on someone that's extremely petite. The dress, in my experience, is stretchier lengthwise than it is width-wise. But really, this dress should fit a great variety of sizes.

Design:
There's really not a lot to the design of this piece. It's a simple tube dress, so there are no shoulder straps. The dress does not feature any underwire, or padding, so you shouldn't expect bust support. You could wear a bra under it, but I don't think that would really look right. The lack of bust support doesn't bother me too much, though.

The dress has little "pot holes" all over it. Your nipples will probably poke through the holes -- unless you spend time fussing with the dress to make it cover your nipples, but that can be a hassle.

The dress will cling to your curves, so it's not going to be a good choice for those of you that might be looking to hide certain aspects of your body.

Packaging:
The dress comes packaged in a little cardboard box/envelope. The box displays photographs of the model wearing the dress on both the front and back. The box provides minimal information, yet it is sufficient.

In my own opinion, the box isn't really suitable for storage. It's just kind a pain, and it's not really needed. Instead, I recycled the box, and have decided to store the dress in my lingerie drawer.

Quality:
For the price, I can't really complain about the quality. I should note, however, that the quality is not fantastic. There are some loose threads on this piece, and there are several areas that appear to be fraying right out of the box. I don't think this will last long, but it'll be sexy while it does last.

This dress is very, very sexy, but it's not one of my favorites. I have larger breasts, and they kind of poke through the holes in a way that I think looks a bit silly. My boyfriend, on the other hand, finds it to be extremely sexy.

I still like this item, but I wouldn't buy another one. Over time, the piece has started to fray more and more. Don't get me wrong, it still looks good, and it is worth the price, but I'm just a little disappointed at how quickly it frayed.
