Hot pink maximum cleavage bra - bra discontinued by Baci - review by lilly555

Overview
I love bras but I tend to have a habit of purchasing the ones that just don’t go well with your everyday, going out attire. So when I saw that Eden started carrying affordable, functional bras with actual sizing by Baci that I decided to pick one up and see how it would hold up. Now I am a picky gal when it comes to my everyday breast support so I decided my best bet would be to go with the Maximum Cleavage Bra in Hot Pink. While I have heard some not so great reviews about the other colors in the Maximum Cleavage family I have to say that I’m pretty happy with mine. With that in mind I hope to see more Baci bras here on Eden.
Material and Texture
The Maximum Cleavage bra was made in China of 90% polyester and 10% spandex. Like a lot bras the polyester at the front is soft and shiny while the inside is bit duller in appearance. The side lace detailing of the bra is a bit rough but not itchy like some detailing can be. I would like to point out is that the coloring of this bra changes slightly depending on what portion you are looking at. Both the adjustable and none adjustable portions of the straps which are connected via a circular metal ring are two different shades of pink.


Design
For the most part the design of this bra is pretty simple; solid, hot pink, with non removable straps. But there are some slight details I will mention. For instance, there is a small bow located in the middle of the bra cups, it is not removable but it is not large enough that it would be noticeable under clothing nor bother you in any way. Unless, of course, you do not like the aesthetics of a tiny bow. There is also a hint of charm that tells the consumer Baci tried to give this bra a little pizzazz with the non adjustable portion of the bra straps. This half of the straps are actually two thiner straps stitched together and made to look as if the non adjustable portion splits in two and comes back together when it meets the metal ring.
For the semantics of the maximum cleavage as it is a lightly padded the bra provides no real boost to give you the cleavage which its namesake suggests. It does however cover the nipples from making any sudden appearances and is not stuffed beyond belief either. The maximum cleavage also contains underwire for added support.
To put this bra on there is not fancy lace ties or front clamps’ you just use the good old hook and eye method. It has three ‘eyes’ to adjust from depending on which you choose. Also, while the bra straps are adjustable they are not removable but I do believe there is another Baci bra on the Eden site that is if that is something you are looking for.
Craftsmanship
Now for the craftsmanship. After having read about the shoddy job on some of the other maximum cleavage bras I have to admit I got pretty lucky with mine. While there are some snags here and there overall mine is in fairly good shape. Alas there are some things to note. First some of the lace has loose ends hanging, not enough that am worried about this falling apart anytime soon but notable. Second the cups themselves tend to be the sore point of this bra. No, there is no wire hanging out but the stitching near the wire on the inside of the cup isn’t great. While I have seen pictures with several tufts of fabric hanging out my bra only has some thread sticking out of one of the cups and one tuft of fabric poking out of the other cup. But, given the price of the bra and its overall cuteness this doesn’t really bother me.


Packaging and Cleaning
When the bra arrived I was slightly surprised to find that Baci had packaged the product, but they did. It came wrapped in tissue paper inside of a plastic bag with the Baci moniker proudly displayed. Upon unsealing the bag and unfolding the tissue paper I found that the tag recommends that this bra be hand washed in warm water and line dried. This bra will do just fine if you decide to throw it in the wash though and while you can use a dryer I would recommend still line drying. Although I would recommend this for all of your bras as it helps to keep them in good shape. We wouldn’t want any wires out of place.

Eden was kind enough to order this bra in a plethora of sizes ranging from 32A-38DD, overall the site currently houses 15 different sizes of the maximum cleavage to choose from. I purchased the 34C and found that it was a pretty accurate fit. The bra fits me with no problems; there are no cone boobs and the maximum cleavage does its job in terms of functionality. As I have not nor am I able to properly try out this bra in other sizes I will say that as far as accuracy goes for a 34C Baci nailed it straight on the head.
Likes and Dislikes
What I wasn’t so fond of
When it comes to dislikes I will name two things worth noting about this bra. While I do presume the shelf life of this product will last long enough for me to get what it’s worth due to the poor make of the bra I don’t see this lasting me as long as some of my other practical bras. My second worry is that the name of this bra is misleading; the Maximum Cleavage bra. While I knew before purchasing this product just by looking at the model and reading the product page that there was no cleavage to be had here I’m sure some folks thought differently. This kind of makes me wish the manufacturer would change the name.
What I liked
Overall I’m pretty happy with this product. It works great under my clothes, is cute enough for the boudoir, and to top it off its very affordable. Really I’m just hoping Eden stocks up on these in different colors. Right now there is only the hot pink then more drab tones such as white, black, and brown which is kind of boring.

I still think this is an okay bra but the craftsmanship is definitely showing it’s wear over time. The hooks have started to lose their pink coloring and are bending. Meanwhile the lace band is starting to get holes and snags. Now in Baci’s defense I have thrown this in the washer with my delicates. But I’ve done this with plenty of other bras I’ve had for years that haven’t shown this kind of wear. Still for the price I couldn’t expect much and I gather that it’s lasted me long enough to have been worth it given all the wear I put into it.
