Lacy seduction babydoll - babydoll and panties set by DreamGirl - review by Breas

The Lacy Seduction Babydoll by DreamGirl is available in sizes S-XL. I purchased the size XL. The babydoll arrived on a black hanger and was surrounded by a clear plastic bag. There was no text or photos on the bag. There was a cardboard tag attached to the babydoll with a photo of a model wearing the outfit and stated the company name, company website, size of item, and colour. The hanger is excellent to use to store the babydoll when you’re not wearing it.



The babydoll comes with a matching white thong. The thong is 90% polyester and 10% spandex. The material of the thong is sheer and has stretch to it. The waistband and leg holes are trimmed with elastic band so they are stretchy in these areas as well. The babydoll is 60% polyester, 32% nylon, and 8% spandex. The babydoll is also sheer with stretch to it.



I’ve taken a few measurements of the outfit laying flat, unstretched. If you need additional measurements, please let me know and I will get them for you.

Waistband unstretched: 15 ¼ inches
Waistband stretched as much as I could: 36 inches
Widest part of material that covers front area: 5 ½ inches

Babydoll
Width of lace at top of babydoll: 7 ¼ inches
Length of lace at top of babydoll (from front to back): 26 inches
Width beneath chest: 14 ¼ inches
Length from beneath chest to bottom of babydoll: 17 ½ inches

The babydoll does up with hook and eye closures at the centre back. There are 2 columns of eyes with 3 eyes in each column. The columns are ½ of an inch apart from each other. The measurements of the babydoll that I had provided were with the hook and eye closures done up on the first column (loosest fit). Beneath the hook and eye closures, there is a slit down the material. The back of the babydoll is open concept.

There is a pretty light pink flower attached beneath the chest, to the side. The diameter of the flower is about 4 inches. This flower is not detachable, though it doesn’t seem to be sewn on very tightly so it could be carefully removed with a seam ripper if you wanted to.

The length of the lace, which makes up the chest area, shoulder straps, and sleeves, is not adjustable. The lace can be stretched a bit if you need more length but can’t be shortened. I suppose you could adjust the length by sewing it if you need it to be shortened but that’s completely up to you.

Since your chest sits beneath the lace, there is no padding or underwire. Also, the lace is see-through so if you don’t want nipples exposed, you’ll want to wear pasties or a similar item. The thong is a soft mesh material and it does have a liner in the crotch.

I’m 5’6 in height and the bottom of the babydoll fell just below my crotch. I like the length of the piece on me. The lengths of the lace pieces at the top of the babydoll seem to be a bit long for me. I would have preferred them to be a bit shorter, especially since they can be stretched if you need it. When I tried wearing the lace pieces as sleeves (so kind of moved more towards my shoulders), they kept sliding off and down my arms.

I wear a C cup and the width of the lace pieces was fine but my breasts certainly don’t look like the models in the stock photo. Since my breasts aren’t fake, they don’t sit outwards. The weight of my chest actually pulls the lace pieces down a bit… another reason why I wish they were adjustable or shorter.

I’m not exactly sure of the point of the hook and eye closures at the back of the piece because the area is trimmed with elastic band. When I put the piece on, I didn’t have to do up the back or anything special. I just stretched the babydoll over my head and pulled it down my body. Below are a couple of photos of me wearing the babydoll with a tank top beneath it. You’ll have to excuse the tank top because I’ve gained weight and it’s way too small for me now. The tank top has padding and underwire in it.



The material is really comfortable and soft against the skin. The lace isn’t irritating and didn’t bother my skin or nipples while wearing it. The care tag to both the babydoll and thong state that they should be hand washed in cold water and line dried. Overall, it’s a pretty outfit and my partner really likes it on me. I like the babydoll but the fact that the lace length is not adjustable made me deduct one star from the rating.
