As a curvy woman, I was excited to see what looked like lingerie that would accent my assets while covering some of my less flattering "bumps and giggles." With the lacy bust and solid fabric body, this looked like it would do the trick.

The set came in a cardboard box with a tasteful, romantic photograph of the model wearing the garment displayed prominently on both the front and the back. The set was packaged in a plastic bag inside the box. It was in good condition when I unboxed it, and I didn't notice any rips or loose strings. The seams were all serged, and seemed sturdy. So, I slipped it on for a test run. Unfortunately, the piece didn't flatter my body type the way I had hoped.

First, the size was simply too small for me. I usually wear a US size 14 in jeans, and this fit so tight against my waist that I could see the outline of my belly button through the opaque fabric. Besides the waist size, there were a couple of other issues with the fit. The straps were very difficult to adjust. The little buckle that is supposed to slide over the strap (just like on a bra) wouldn't budge when I tugged on it, and the straps were set at such a long length that they nearly slid off my shoulders. Also, the bust lace is stretchy, so between the elasticity of the lace and the long straps, my bust had no support, drooping instead being cupped.

If you have a different body type and don't think you'll have the same issues as I did, I'd say this is a good purchase for a sensual, romantic look. But, if you've got a larger waist, hip, or bust, I'd skip over this "one size fits most" for something designed for a fuller figured woman.
