Kimono rhinestone robe set - peignoir discontinued by Fantasy Lingerie - review by js250

The Kimono Rhinestone set arrives inside a clear plastic garment bag and is on a white plastic clothes hanger. I toss these thin hangers and use a more substantial hanger for my closet. The first hing I noticed was the pale pink, sheer netting of the kimono and the bright, neon pink color of the bra and g-string.

I ordered an XL, hoping the bra would fit. For once, a large would have worked much better! The bra was too big on the band size, but fit my size 43D breasts perfectly cup-wise. I did take in the band and the bra is one of my favorite bras now. It is softly padded, has a nice material draping on the cups and has a triangle of rhinestones in the middle--between the breasts. The straps are adjustable and the band has two adjustments.

The g-string is constructed well, but as I do not wear them, it has been passed along to a friend that does.

The robe is made of a stiffer, sheer netting material that is mildly scratchy. I used fabric softener when I washed this and it helped a bit, but not a whole lot. There are little, round, metallic, decals glued to the material. They look like 3M Fabricware vinyl with added adhesive. They are Bright Pink Shattered Hollographic pattern--one of 3M's most popular patterns in vinyl. I use this style of commercial sign vinyl for signage frequently. It should last quite awhile if washed properly.

There is a pink satin trim, about 2" deep, around the arms and front of the robe. The tie is also of the same pink satin, which is very pretty and complimentary to the set. The darker, more neon colored bra also goes very well, since the decals also tie the color into the outfit.

I love to wear this robe over a chemise after getting out of the shower. This is a fun and colorful robe for those who are cam models, enjoy making home movies or for personal photos. My husband loves how the shiny fabric glitters on my body while he is taking pictures.

The material is 70% Nylon, 20& Polyester and 10% spandex. There is no stretch to the robe, but the bra has plenty of stretch to the band and cups. The bra material reminds me of a light swimsuit material. The robe is a thin, sheer mesh.

Wash the robe in warm water using a mild detergent. Do NOT wash in a washer or put in a dryer! It will ruin the material. The bra can be washed in a machine on the gentle cycle in warm water and can be tossed in the dryer. It must be dried on low, however. Let the robe air dry and hang in the closet when it is finished drying. I spritz it with a bit of the Dona Linen Spray to keep it smelling wonderful.

I love the new fit of the bra--now it is fully sized for me. I am not happy about the itchy material on the robe, so it has become an "only for seduction' item. Once my hubby is hooked....this baby is off of me!!

A great set and sexy look. I would buy it again--just in a smaller size.
