Mesh chemise with ruffle - chemise discontinued by Coquette - review by OpenMindedInOhio

So, normally I have absolutely no interest in lingerie. I used to feel that it was just one more thing to do that was going to get in the way anyways. But as luck would have it, I came across this adorable chemise by Coquette. We have become involved in the swinging lifestyle and I think that maybe dressing up and adding some sexiness to our play might actually make it more fun. So taking all things into account I anxiously ordered my chemise and waited for it to arrive.

I was particularly drawn to this outfit as it has underwire in the top. I have in the past bought other pieces that were much more expensive and much more disappointing due to the lack of underwire. The shoulder straps are also adjustable so Coquette has taken into account that we are not all created equal. When I opened my package I was pretty impressed with the quality of the material and the product. Many times, you get your lingerie home and when you put it on for the first time, it's stiff and itchy that you end up irritated and frustrated.Not with this outfit. The satin, mesh, and ruffles are soft and silky feeling. The pink is vibrant but not obnoxious. Please note: In the picture you can see panties and stockings.These are NOT included in the purchase. You will have to purchase your add ons. I got my stockings and decided to give it a try. I do have difficulty finding things to wear that fit comfortably so I wasn't sure this outfit would work. Once I applied the stockings I began to attach them to the garters. I was disappointed at the construction of the garters. They were difficult to secure and I will probably replace the faulty devices with something else. The rubbery nub did not fit easily into the metal piece, even without stockings involved.

Once I had the outfit on, I decided to model it for my husband. Apparently,I made a good choice, because he really liked it. The ruffles around the lower part easily mask imperfections. The body of the outfit is mesh and is see-through but also concealing of flaws. I ordered a large to be safe, although I usually wear between a 6 and 8. There was enough room for comfort without being restricting. There is plenty of stretch and give to the fabric.

This chemise is priced right, and, in my opinion, is probably much better quality than the chemise you would find at the popular lingerie stores located in the malls that cost 2 or 3 times as much.

This is such a comfortable piece of lingerie. I'm not much into lingerie but have found a desire to try it out. This outfit does a nice job of hiding the imperfections of a mom. The issue with the garter has not been resolved, but I work around it.
