Camisole set discontinued

Research has proved it!! Don't judge a book by its cover!!

Looking for an outfit that is comfortable, cute, sexy and machine washable? Who knew you could find all that and more in 1 beautiful piece of lingerie? This is as close to perfect as it gets. I tried very hard to find something negative about this but in truth, I can't. I hope my love affair with this rich outfit continues. My partner isn't the jealous type and actually likes joining "us" in the bedroom!

extremely useful review
It's true. My first impression of this was not very high. It arrived in a manner very similar to your standard stocking/pantyhose. It came folded in a clear plastic package and then inserted in a small, narrow hang up pack--just like pantyhose would come to your home. "How can something so tiny be even close to a quality product? Why doesn't BACI know how to present their lingerie?", I thought. No, it just didn't make sense.

Well, once I opened the package I saw and felt how wrong I could be (I know, hard to believe isn't it?). I ordered a large (size chart measurements are listed as: C/D cup; breast--36/38; waist--28/32; hips--38/40; rise--8/8 with a weight of 140 - 160 lbs. With the exception of my weight (164 lbs) and my waist (34) I fall into the range for large. This fits me (and looks adorable/sexy) but I would like the top to be looser. That's just my preference--I like my lingerie loose so that I can comfortabley move with no thoughts about ripping the outfit.

The outfit looks exactly like the pictures on EF. There will be no surprises (which is a good thing). It is made of a pretty heavy, shiny, platinum/silver colored satin (100% polyester) with black lace trim. The bottoms have an elastc waist and loose, flowy legs (or lack of legs because the bottom has no inseam and is very short. Since my legs are my best asset (only outdone by my sparkling eyes and alluring smile...) I love this feature. Because there is no elastic around the legs I can move as I want, wrapping my legs around my man (or whoever...). I am 5'3" of pure lucsiousness but these shorts are really short. Taller women, or women with a long pelvic area (rise) may find these shorts give them a wedgie. I can not praise this outfit enough.

It is well made--the seams are nicely finished, there are no gaps or loose threads. The lace is sewn on evenly and the straps are securely attached (and form an X in back). I would not wear the top out of the house by itself, but it makes a nice camisole worn under a low cut or sheer top. I have a pair of fitted black pants and a loose, wide and low cut sweater and this looks perfect underneath. Too bad it will start warming up soon and it won't be sweater weather.

I love the softness of this outfit--my partner commented that the fabric alone makes him want to touch me. He was able to effortlessly pull the top over my head. I thought that was really a sexy move. Unlike most satins I have worn, this does not have me sliding everyplace when I wear it. Another good feature of this fabric (and I have had this problem with other shiny satins) is that there is no static cling nor does my partner get those "electrical shocks" when he initially touches me when I have this outfit on. I am not a big fan of chemicals so I do not use fabric softener sheets or liquids so static cling and shocks can be bothersome.

This is machine washable but I always err on the side of caution. I placed both pieces in a net delicates bag and washed with other regular type laundry. I left the outfit in the bag when I tossed it in the dryer. In retrospect I wish I had taken it out of the bag to dry because I had to iron this when I took it out. I'll wash it in the bag and dry out of the bag next time and put a note in the comments. Other than needing ironing, it fared well in the laundry and still looks perfect.
Experience
I am still puzzeled why BACI uses such unflattering packaging for this outfit. It looks like you will open it and it will be so sheer or such cheap fabric but just the opposite is true. As I thought about it, this minimalist wrap is eco friendly and (probably) keeps the prices low. I think $32.99, plus tax/shipping is a bargain for this item. I have paid double and not received such a fine outfit. Toss a few small things in your shopping cart and take advantage of free shipping to make this an even better deal.
Follow-up commentary
I still love wearing this. It is sexy but not so revealing that I don't feel comfortable just lounging around--of course for my husband's eyes only! It has been worn and washed several times and has held up well. A well made, inexpensive outifit.
