Rockabilly Pin-Up Babe

This chemise is going to look great on and flatter a wide number of body types, creating a slimming effect with the black mesh and the straight up and down pink accent lines. Smaller breasts might find that they're fighting for visual attention with the large bow between the cups, but that can be easily removed if you want to.

I love trying new things with lingerie, and this is one piece I've been eying on and off since I first discovered it because of the more modern twist on something that has such a retro pin-up feel to it. I'm not terribly huge on breast play, but my husband likes to play with them while we're having sex. This piece gave him easy access and made me look and feel great at the same time.

It came in a nice plastic bag wrapped in pretty pink tissue paper. It had a tag and a small bag filled with the garter straps safety pinned to one of the straps.

I got this set in a size small. To Coquette, this means I should be a size 4-6, with a B cup, a 34-36" bust, 26-28" waist, and 36-38" hips. Personally I'm about 5'2, I weigh about 110, around my bust measures 32" and underneath measures about 28 1/2". I've got about a 29" waist with 37" hips and wear a good solid B cup. The cups don't really matter here, but everything else fit me wonderfully.

All you're getting with this set is the chemise and its attachable garter straps. It's built similar to a long tank top or very short dress. On shorter folks you should easily be able to cover most of the butt, but a longer torso will bring the hemline up. Since this is cupless, cup size matters a whole lot less, although larger breasts may still sag regardless of the underwire. It's comprised mostly of a see-through black mesh with some lovely pastel pink accent ribbons, lace, and bows. The adjustable straps are 8" of ribboned lace about 1 1/4" wide in the front. The ribbon in the straps meets a small bow at the edge of each cup and turns into a ribbon that goes all the way around the back. The cups are open and underwire and accented by pink lace underneath and black ruffles on top. The 4 1/2" bow between the cups matches the two bows at the bottom of the chemise where the pink accent ribbon ends. From the front bow between the cups down to the bottom of the chemise is about 18", including the bottom 2 1/2" of black ruffles.

The garter straps are both removable and adjustable and feature a metal backing with a rubber/silicone clip. Where they attach to the chemise is in line with the accent ribbons in the front. While I wasn't as hot on keeping the garter straps on, they did help keep the chemise from riding up. If you decide to wear them, you can't go wrong with a black fishnet. But if you want to keep with the older style a sheer black stocking with a backseam will look amazing. And if you can match the baby pink with a pair of stockings that will look great too.

The only part on this I'm any kind of worried about breaking is the straps because I'm always nervous about such fine lace, but everything seems to be sewn together very well and isn't about to break any time soon.

It's made of 82% Nylon and 18% Spandex exclusive of the trim and should be hand washed and laid out to dry. Because it has straps you could hang it up in the closet to store, but it won't really wrinkle so you could store it in a drawer as well.

I'm wearing this over a tank top, but here are a few pictures for you.

Experience
I really do like this set, but the garter straps drive me crazy. I really think it's because of my height though, since I'm pretty short so are my legs and because this chemise ends towards the upper part of my thigh the garter straps don't have much room between where the chemise ends and where I like to wear my stockings so my stockings either sit way down farther than I want them to or the garter straps are really loose and don't feel like they're doing anything. Because of that, I actually prefer to wear my own garter belt with it rather than to use the included garter straps.

My husband loves the fact that my breasts are out and on display and the only bow that bothers me on this set is the large one between the cups since my breasts aren't that big to begin with and now they have to fight for visual attention with this giant freaking bow. But it does make me feel sexy, and that takes away any other irritations I have with it.
