Ruby bustier and thong - bustier discontinued by DreamGirl - review by married with children

The packaging is pretty simple on this out fit. It showed up on a cheap plastic hanger, sitting inside a cheap clear plastic garment bag. The bag was about the same thickness as the plastic bags you find in your local grocery store, in the produce department. Easily torn or ripped. It is not really good for storage. I accidentally tore ours just trying to get the hanger out of the bag. The hanger could be good for storage, if you are short on higher quality hangers. We however are not. So I did not keep the plastic hanger. The hanger was just big enough to hang on the closet rod in our closet, with me pushing it onto the rod. It is pretty cheap and flimsy.

The Bustier does not come with much information. It has a small heavy paper stock tag, that is attached to the top. It does not have much information on it. Model number, color, and size. It also has the dreamgirls web address on it. The tag also includes a picture of a model wearing the bustier. It is the same picture used on the eden product page for this bustier, it is also on this page on the left hand side.

This is worse then hand wash only. This is dry clean only. Not sure why they have it labeled as dry clean only. Now just a little about my wife and I, we have never had anything dry cleaned. In fact, I don't think we have more then what we can count on our hands in dry clean only pieces of clothing. And most of those are jackets or coats. I even think she has hand washed some of the smaller items labeled "dry clean only". Thats just us. So I was a little surprised when I found out this was "dry clean only". Luckily we have not needed to clean this yet. She does not wear the panties, and the top has not gotten dirty. Hopefully when the top does need to be cleaned, a hand wash will not damage it.

The panties are made from 100% Polyester. They have a soft silky feel to them. And surprise surprise, they also have a panty liner. I have not seen a panty liner on panties that come in lingerie sets for a while now. I was really surprise to see a liner. These panties are not half bad. My wife still will not wear them, besides for the purpose of me writing the review. Which is ok with me, as this bustier does not really need the panties to work in the bedroom. Plus they just end up coming right off of the wife with in a few moments of me seeing her in lingerie.

The panties have a thin waist band, it is about 1/4 inch wide. It does not have a whole lot of stretch to it, which surprised me. I am used to the panties we get from this site to have quite a bit of stretch to them. Maybe after use and a few washes, they loosen up a bit. The thong portion reminds me of higher quality panties, like you would get from VS (I use this store for reference because that is where my wife purchases her panties). The thong is wide enough to cover up your naughty bits. And as covered above, it has a liner. The front portion is see thru though. Just to right above the clit. That is where the liner starts. Also on the front, where the waist band joins the thong portion on each side; is a small ribbon bow. It is very small and looks like it belongs. The front has a almost floral pattern in the material. There are also red sequins scattered around in what seems to be a random pattern. The sequins just feel out of place. Plus I don't really see them staying in place after a wash or two. They can not really be seen from the product pictures on this site.

Overall, these are decent panties. It is just too bad that they are dry clean only. I guess, if you are one who has a load of dry cleaning going in every week; then you could get a lot of use out of these and not have to worry about how to get them cleaned. Just toss them in with your regular load, no extra trips needed. For us, it is just convenient. I don't even think we have a dry cleaner in town.

The bustier is made from 100% Polyester as well. It has hook and eye hardware on the front, which is a nice touch. I know that the wife has a harder time when they are on the back, getting them closed and the lingerie on. She has to put it on backwards, attach the hooks and then turn the lingerie around without hurting her nipples. It is very funny to watch, at least I think it is funny; her not so much. But with the hardware on the front, it cuts out some steps for putting this on. The hook and eye pieces are made from metal, so you do not need to be worried about them bending and breaking off. The under-wire in the bust feel like plastic. My wife does not care if the under-wire is plastic or metal. But something to keep in mind if you have a preference. This also has vertical boning that feels to be made of plastic as well. It has two strips of boning in the back, that run from the bottom to the top; and two strips of boning in the front, that run from the bottom to just under the bust.

The Bustier has two adjustable shoulder straps. The are attached in the front on each outer side of the bust. And in the back just inside of your shoulder blades. They are fully adjustable, and should make fitting this to your body type easier. This also has removable garter straps. There are two in the front and two in the back. They have metal hardware and are adjustable.

The material in the back is see thru, along with small portions of the front, and parts of the cups of the bust. Your nipples will be seen through the material. The material on the back is just plain solid material, see thru but plain. The non see thru material on the front is just a solid red color. The material in the cups that you can see thru, is the same pattern as on the front of the panties. A almost floral pattern with random sequins. There is also a red ribbon bow attached in between the breasts. This bow is much larger then the ones on the panties. It still looks like it belongs on the bustier.

We purchased this one in a 34 size. My wife is a 34 B cup, 125 pounds, and about 5 foot 4 inches tall. This fit her like it should. Dreamgirls has their sizing right on with this lingerie. I am always worried when purchasing clothing online, without being able to try it on and make sure it fits; either for myself or anyone else in my family. And lingerie is the hardest of all to purchase site unseen. But this fit her very well. I was pleasantly surprised.

This can be worn during sex. Plus it is pretty easy to take off if you decide that it is in the way. My wife can leave hers on, and everything but boob play is still on the table. Like I stated above, she does not wear the panties; so we don't have to worry about those getting in the way of anything.

This has worked out well for us. It has held up to cleanings. It looks sexy on the wife. It still looks brand new. You really cant ask for much more then that. This is highly recommend to anyone looking for a sexy bustier.
