Croquette’s Black Lace petticoat is simply stunning. Weather you wear it with a corset or as part of a costume, this petticoat is sure to be a hit in the bedroom. The delicate looking lace is in a floral pattern and the edges of the skirt are trimmed with a scalloped lace band. This petticoat does not have an elastic waist band; rather it utilizes three snaps to ensure a proper fit. I enjoy this feature, since it allows the skirt to sit on my hips rather than cut in. Also, the waist band is a soft black satin like band.

The skirt is made in such a way that they ruffled skirt is a drop style. This part of the petticoat is double layered to give the skirt a fuller effect. When wearing the skirt it is not stiff and flows nicely as you walk.

I loved my petticoat so much; I had to order another one in white. They both look absolutely amazing with my corset and really add to the solon girl style Hubby enjoys.

Often, I wear it with my opaque thigh highs. As for shoes, I always choose my high heal cowboy boots. I think it would look great as part of a Soloon Girl, Gypsy, or even Pirate outfit.

EdenFantasys product page lists this as skirt as being made from polyester. To the contrary the skirt’s care tag lists the material as nylon.

When I received my black skirt it was rather stiff and scratchy. After one washing this feeling went away. On the other hand, when I received my white petticoat it was nice and soft.

Made in China.

Care

I wash all my lingerie in Dona’s Lingerie Wash. It is safe to wash this skirt with this or a similar mild soap. The tag states: Hand wash in cold water only and hang to dry.

I have washed my skirt several times and initially the black seemed to run a bit. Fortunately after a few washes, that problem has ended.

To store you can either hang it in the closest or fold it and tuck it away in a drawer. I choose to hand it in the closet with my other skirts.

Measurements:

I bought the One Size Fits Most.

Waist - 28 inches, not streached and set on the smallest snap; 32 inches not strached and on largest snap setting. It is a bit stretchy and can be stretched to 34 inches. Satin type waist band is ½ of an inch wide.

Skirt – 12 inches long. Solid one layer band area on the top is 3 inches long. Double layer area with the scalloped edging is 6 inches long. The scalped lace edging is 3 inches long.

I still love it. After several washings the lace has softened. It looks as great as the first day I received even after washing it several times.

It looks great with a variety of outfits and really adds a bit of versatility to my lingerie collection.
