Santa top and skirt costume - costume discontinued by Coquette - review by Kissy

Merry Christmas Everyone! If you like to celebrate the holidays with your lover, like I sure do, this Santa Top and Skirt Costume is the way to do it! Sleigh bells ring and carolers sing when wearing this sexy two piece set. It is by far one of my favorite outfits to celebrate the season with... so much so that I want to ring in the New Year with it too. Which makes me think, they should really sell New Year outfits on EdenFantasys... maybe noise makers as pasties? Anyone?

Packaging:
The packaging for the Santa Halter Top and Skirt by Coquette was simple. It came on a hanger and there was a tag attached to the outfit with a small safety pin. The tag has some important care instructions and product information. The model image on the tag is a little misleading though. She is wearing a hat and gloves that are not included.

Design/Shape:
This outfit is available in one color/style. Style #3629

The top is a halter top style half shirt. It ties in the front middle with a big white satin bow. There is faux fur around the entire neckline down to the center of the top. The color is a bit different than the model picture. The color of the actual piece is lighter red, on the verge of pink. The back strap is very stretchy and could accommodate larger than a 34" chest. I think a 36" or 38" would fit fine, if you are willing to have your breast pop out more. That is the great thing about the tie-your-own-bow thing, you can have it tight for cleavage or loose for a different fit. Aside from the back strap, the faux fur neckline is not stretchy at all. The faux fur measures about 1 ½" thick. There is a white satin ribbon lining around all of the edges of this top. The top is comfortable and cute.

The skirt is a similar style/look to Santa pants. There is an elastic waist band that is supposed to look like a belt. There is a silver belt buckle on the front of the band. The belt buckle is for vanity purposes only, there is no working purpose for it beyond that. In fact, it is the only cheap thing about this outfit. On the bottom hem there is faux fur just like the stuff on the top. This faux fur goes around the entire length of the skirt and is 2" thick. The top hem of the skirt is smaller (it is gathered) than the bottom hem, so it gives it a nice flowy look. Like you could twirl around in it.

Sizing:
This outfits comes in two sizes: S/M and M/L
I ordered the S/M size since I typically wear small to medium in items from EdenFantasys. It says is accommodates a 6-10. I would say this is right on. I am 125lbs, 5'4", bust 34D, waist 30"-32" and a 36" hip. The S/M size ended up fitting perfectly! The skirt was a little loose in the band, so I wouldn't recommend it for smaller waist or smaller hips. It could on the other hand be worn with bigger waists. A 32"-38" waist would be just fine. Do note: if you have a little junk in the trunk, this skirt will ride up in the back and be that much shorter! Also for the top, I don't think an A cup and maybe even a B cup would look right. It might be saggy and loose. I would say a 36" and up B cup would be comfortable in this.

Care/ Maintenance:
Hand wash only and hang to dry are the care instructions on the inside tag. I currently store this in a plastic bag in my Christmas decorations/costumes box.

Material/Texture:
Material: Faux Fur/ Lycra (80% Nylon/20% Spandex)

The red material is the nylon/spandex blend. It is very soft and smooth. It is stretchy and looks like spandex biking shorts. The faux fur is soft, but the backing is rough and a bit itchy. The satin looking edging is smooth and not as stretchy as the red fabric.

The craftmanship is very good. The seams are finished and the fabric is nice quality. The only thing that is a little cheesy and cheap is the belt buckle.

Personal Experience :
I must say, I feel so sexy in the Santa costume. My boobs look full in the top and the skirt isn't tightly cinching the belly fat on my hips. I have worn this for my husband once, last Christmas. It was fun acting like Mrs. Claus and giving him a present early. I plan on wearing this multiple times this holiday season, I just don't think this costume set will ever get old.

I am still loving this Christmas gear! Although I would have loved to have the gloves and hat too, I am still happy with the top and skirt. I wear the skirt more than the top, it is so cute. I even was cooking in it (above other clothes) one night when my partner came home. It gets all if its use in December, so it has been stored during the off-season, but it is holding up well! There is no doubt that it will once again get more use come the holidays!
