Bad romance chemise - chemise discontinued by Escante - review by SMichelle

This was an item that I purchased on a whim. My expectations for it weren't high, but something about it seemed to call to me. I think it might've been the vibrant pink color that makes up most of the chemise. I have always been a sucker for pink, after all. Whatever the reason, this chemise has recently made it into my collection, and I'm quite happy to have it.

Basics:
This vibrant chemise is made by Escante. It's available in only one color combination: pink and black. The chemise comes packaged with a matching g-string.

I wouldn't call this chemise the sexiest thing I own, but it's definitely a good item to have. It's comfortable enough to wear for sleeping, but it's also pretty sexy. I suspect that I'll use it more for sleeping than I will for seducing my boyfriend, but that's only because I own many other items that my boyfriend finds sexier.

Material & Care:
Both items in this set are made out of 90% Nylon and 10% Elastane.

The material is very stretchy, though I find that the black lace is less stretchy than the pink fabric.

The feel of the material is incredible. It's a bit thicker than what you might expect from lingerie, yet it's not heavy or uncomfortable at all. It feels soft and silky on my skin, and I absolutely adore how it feels on my skin.

The material is also opaque in nature, which is fantastic! Finally, a piece of lingerie that I can wear without feeling like I'm showing off all I've got!

Another great thing about this chemise is that the tag states that it can be machine washed on the gentle cycle! You should, however, line dry it. You should also not wring or twist this item. This item should also only be ironed on low, if needed.

Sizing:
This chemise is available in three different sizes: small, medium, and large. I purchased the large.

According to the size chart, a large should fit someone with the following measurements:
Cups: C-D
Bust: 36-38"
Waist: 32-34"
Hips: 34-36"

I wear a 34d bra, and have a 32" waist. My hips measure 40".

In general, this chemise fits me amazingly, but I don't think that it would fit anyone with larger measurements. Also, I feel as though I am pushing the limit for the cup size. The cups are definitely better suited towards someone with a small C cup or under. That said, I am able to make the cups work with my D cup breasts.

The included g-string fits my hips comfortably, as well.

Length-wise, this chemise is a little shorter than I would like it to be. I would have preferred it if the chemise covered my bum completely, but instead the chemise only covers half of my ass. I'm 5'6", if that helps.

Design:
This beautiful chemise is very eye-catching in person. The color is very vibrant and bright, yet it's not overwhelming. The style is also very sexy, without revealing all that you have.

The straps crisscross on the back of the chemise. They are not removable, but they are adjustable. As someone who is a bit busty, I found that I needed to really loosen the straps in order for the cups to comfortably fit my breasts.

The cups themselves are a little small for me, but with the straps adjusted properly they cover everything that I need covered. The cups do not offer much bust support, however, as they do not feature underwire or padding. There is, however, a seam that goes under the bust that seems to help offer some support.

The cups are pink with black lacing. The lacing covers the majority of the cups. There is also a little black bow found right between the cups. The bow is not meant to be removable, but you could probably remove it with a seam ripper.

The body of the chemise is all pink, and it's meant to hug your curves. This means that the chemise isn't really going to hide any figure flaws that you feel you might have.

If you look at the chemise closely, you'll notice that there are two seams going down the centers of the front and back of the chemise. These seams lead to little slits that are found at the bottom of the chemise. The slits fall at the front and back of the chemise, rather than the side, which is very sexy. There are tiny little bows found at the top of each slit.

The bottom of the chemise is covered in black lacing. The lacing calls attention to the slits, as it is around the slits that the lacing is primarily found. What I love about the lacing is that it goes over the pink fabric, so you can see the pink through the lace.

The included g-string is your basic g-string. It does feature a pantyliner, making it suitable for everyday wear. The pantyliner is only sewn shut at one end, so you have the option of inserting a bullet if you choose to.

Packaging:
This arrived packaged on a plastic hanger, and covered in a plastic bag. The plastic bag served the purpose of protecting the item throughout the shipping process.

There is a hang-tag attached to the chemise. The hang tag features a photograph of the chemise, as well as photos of two other lingerie items that are in the same collection.

Quality:
The quality of this piece is amazing. I didn't notice a single loose thread, and all the seams feel extremely durable. The material itself feels very durable, as well. The quality is truly impressive.
