Crop top and short - bra and panty set discontinued by Magic Silk - review by allehcat

I saw this set on Adam & Eve awhile back, and really loved it. It was a little too pricey at the time, so I passed on it, but I thought that it was just so sexy. When I saw that it was a recent addition on Eden, I couldn't wait any longer, and was all too eager to order it. It was the first lingerie that I've ever gotten in a box, but I liked that it doesn't wrinkle at all, and can easily be folded.

Since Magic Silk doesn't have a listed size chart, I decided to use the one from Escante, which matches the set the closest. According to the chart, for an L/XL I should be a size 8-16, C/D cup, 38-42 bust, 30-34 waist, 38-40 hip, and 130-170 pounds. I wear a size 16, have DD cup breasts, a 39 inch bust, 32 inch waist and 40 inch hip and am an undisclosed amount of pounds ;). I fit nicely in the range, and this is the closest size to my actual body, which I was excited about! Most companies prefer the M/L set size, not L/XL.

When I tried it on, I immediately loved it. It fit like a dream, with room to spare, and would probably manage up to a size 20. The elastic is comfortable and doesn't dig, and the cute pink bows are adjustable, though decorative. I love the way the lace looks on my skin, since it's see-through, but the patterns hide a little bit of skin, as well. It's incredibly flattering, and the effect is super sexy. The panties wear like a combination boy short/thong, with g-string sides and comfortable, wide panels in the front and back. They're roomy and nice to sleep in or even wear under clothes. I wear a 38DDD and was able to fit my puppies nicely into the top, since the V-opening at the front has a nice elastic stretch that can be opened a bit extra for chesty ladies. Overall, it's a very flattering set that I love and wear pretty often.

It will continue to stay nice and sexy if you wash it on cold in a lingerie bag and dry it on delicate or hang dry it. I tend to hang dry all of my lingerie just to keep them fresh and new looking. I highly recommend this set for girls of any body type. It's comfortable and will make you feel incredibly sexy. Gotta love the freedom of a strapless! I sleep in it pretty often, so it's definitely comfortable. The picture may give the impression that it's made of scratchy lace, but it's actually nylon, and the ruffles make it extra comfy.

Since the set is made of Nylon, it is recommended that you hand wash the set in sudsy water, and hang dry it. I'm lazy, so I threw it in a lingerie bag and washed the set on Cold, and then dryed it on Delicate, and it came out just fine, bows and all. I've washed it about 4 times now and haven't had any complications yet. When it first arrived, there was one loose thread, but after I removed it, there haven't been any since. The seams are very tight and the elastic isn't going anywhere. It's definitely well-made.

If you're tired of uncomfortable, constricting pieces that are too high maintenance or fall apart after one wear, this is a good buy. It's also pretty cost effective, and can be matched with other sexy pieces. I like to pair mine with some sexy thigh high fishnets and a black silk robe, but feel free to get even more creative!
