Black lace babydoll and g-string - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by panthercat23

This is a beautiful piece, which is why I impulsively bought this piece. The set includes a pair of panties and the babydoll, both of which are made of lace. This lace is soft and sexy, not scratchy like I think of when someone says lace.

When I tried this on, I wasn't in love with it anymore like I was based on its looks. It is a balance between fit and support, or at least it was for me. When the cups fit my breasts, I had no support; and when I had support, the cups would not fit my breasts. It was challenging to find the balance point between the two extremes. The top can be adjusted with the bra closure in the back and the straps; this is the only way I was able to get this to fit decently. This is not the best fitting lingerie piece I have bought from Coquette, and the sad thing is, I bought this in the same size as I bought all of my other Coquette pieces. I bought an XL, which should fit someone with a 42-44 D chest. I have a 40D and I think this is too small. Only with the bra clasp set to the largest size do my breasts fit in this, and I'm below the size range. I doubt this will fit an individual who is in the size range or larger.

The panties are comfortable and what I have come to expect from Coquette. I have no issues with fit there.

The other problem I had with this set when I received it was the hanger was coming apart. The silver tack on the top had fallen off and the rod that holds the clips on had also fallen off the hanger on one end. Luckily this was easily fixed with a hammer. I could tap both the tack and the rod back into their holes and they have stayed so far. I hope they don't fall out again.

After working forever to get this to fit comfortably and finally starting to like it, I'm now very disappointed. I've worn this once besides the once to try it on and to work with the adjustments to get it to fit. When wearing it last night my bf noticed that it had a hole in the cup and later in the evening I noticed that both underwires poked holes in the sides of this. That makes three holes from wearing this once and not washing it yet. I've never found quality issues this bad with Coquette pieces. This piece has been bad news from day one.
