Piped lace and satin corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by Darklyvan

I found this garment to be easy to wear and sexy to boot. It made me look more slender and for a plus size girl that's not easy to do. My partner enjoyed the way it looked and it made me feel good about myself.

The lace was slightly coarse, but not too irritating to the skin. It is lined with satin so the interior of the garment is very wearable. The plastic boning lines up exactly the way it is intended to give you a great shape. This is reasonably comfortable, given that we're talking about a corset. The only thing I found to be uncomfortable was the ends of the boning at the bottom of the garment. They can be poky if you don't wear anything underneath and they come in direct contact with your skin.

Beware that the image makes it appear red in color when in fact is on the pinker side. I was expecting it to be scarlet red and so I was slightly disappointed to open the package and find a deep pink instead.

One of the only things I was unhappy with is that there was no support in the bust. If you are well endowed then you may feel that you don't get the shape you would desire for cleavage or in general. It does come with shoulder straps (fully detachable) as well which can aid in boosting the girls up into place and keep them where they belong.

The garters that come with this are good quality (also fully detachable) and very adjustable. I'm pretty tall and I found that they still had a lot of room to be stretched out or in to fit the right length for any leg.

When you order the correct size it definitely acts as a corset should. This sexy item certainly could be worn out and about. This isn't so risque that it has to be kept in the bedroom. With a strapless bra underneath this could easily be worn as a top.

The fabric did tear on my first use at one of the seams of the boning. I do have to say though that I didn't put it on with too much care the first time. My advice would be to handle it gingerly. Once it is on correctly thought there is no fuss or muss. Thankfully the return policy of Eden makes this problem go away quickly and without hassle.
