Dress, thong and dvd - mini dress discontinued by DreamGirl - review by SMichelle

Basics:
This three piece set is brought to us by Dreamgirl. It includes the fishnet dress, a matching thong, and a DVD called "The Art of Orgasm". I purchased this set purely for the fishnet dress, as I think it's quite sexy.

Material & Care:
The packaging does not state what the dress and thong are made out of, and there's no tag on either piece. The product page states that the items are made out of Nylon, and that does seem accurate.

The fishnet material doesn't feel like it's the highest of quality, but it is probably the softest fishnet material that I have ever felt. It's definitely touchable, and comfortable to wear. The fishnet is also very stretchy, but even when it's stretched to its fullest, it still appears to be sort of dense. The piece doesn't seem to stay stretched out either, which is great. I can stretch it to its fullest potential, and it still snaps right back down to size. I love that it seems to retain it's original size and shape, while still accommodating a wide variety of people.

The packaging doesn't list anything about cleaning this piece, but I personally would stick to hand washing it. I also would only line dry this item. It's fishnet, so it shouldn't take long to wash and dry.

Sizing:
This is a one size fits most item. The packaging says that it should fit anyone that weighs between 90lbs and 160lbs. I, personally, am on the upper end of that weight chart, and the piece fits me great -- but I also find that weight is a terrible way of sizing items.

So - my own measurements? I have a 32" waist, 40" hips, and I wear a 34d bra. As I said, it fits me well. I believe that it could stretch to accommodate someone a few inches larger than me, as well. It should also fit someone much, much smaller than me.

Length wise, the fact that they call this a dress is comical. It's not a dress. It's a long top, at most. It covers about half of my ass, and I'm 5'6".

Design:
The packaging lists as being a 3/4 sleeve piece. In my experience, the sleeves are actually full length. I can, however, scrunch them up to be 3/4" length, if I really want to, and it doesn't look half bad.

So, it's a long sleeve, short mini-dress. It features a v-neck that is accented by little elastic straps that crisscross -- this makes my cleavage look fantastic! Unlike the front of this piece, the back of the dress is very high cut.

There is a black band that goes around the bottom of the dress, and around the bottoms of the sleeves. These bands sort of make sure the dress is fitted. They don't cause any discomfort, or unflattering appearances, in my experience.

My one complaint about this dress is that when you take it off, it tends to roll up around itself, getting tangled. This isn't hard to fix, but it can kind of be a pain in the butt.

The thong is your standard thong -- it's nothing to write home about. It does, however, feature a decent size cotton pantyliner.

The DVD:
The DVD, "The Art of Orgasm", arrives packaged in a white cardboard case. Sadly, you basicaly have to destroy the case in order to open it, so you'll need to find another way to store it (if you choose to keep it). The DVD is about 45 minutes long, and it gives you the option to watch it in English, or Spanish.

The DVD is, in my opinion, completely cheesy. It basically discusses ways to spice up your sex life, by showing you couples, and solo individuals, masturbating or engaging in sexual acts. It's softcore porn, but it does show both male and female genitals. On the video, you'll see both men and women playing with toys. It even discusses, and shows, prostate toys. You'll also see men and women going down on each other, and engaging in both vaginal and anal sex. All the while this is going on, there's a voice over, telling you about the act that's being preformed.

It's alright, I guess, but it just didn't turn me on. In fact, I couldn't help but giggle as I watched, as the entire thing was just filmed in a very amature-ish way, in my opinion.


Quality:
The quality isn't the best. There are a few areas on the dress that appear to be fraying right out of the package, but it's only noticeable if I look really closely at it. The thong, on the other hand, was fraying horribly right away.

I love how I feel and look in the mini-dress, but the thong and the DVD were flops for me.
