Fetish pink PVC corset - corset discontinued by Coquette - review by Juliettia

Wow, the Fetish Pink PVC Corset is hot in, not one but, two senses. It looks great with its overbust 'wet' look style that lightly hugs your curves, but you will want to hit the showers if you try to wear it for an extended period of time. This is due to the PVC material which is lined with a rough mesh material that is not breathable. The breast cups are lightly padded, but feature the same rough mesh material.

In terms of cup sizing I should have paid a little more attention to the size recommendations. Since I’m a plus size woman I was mostly worried that it would not fit around the waist, so I skipped over the bust sizing and ordered the XL. Unfortunately for me, the bust recommendations are for a D cup or larger, I feature a C cup. Despite not being able to fill out the cups as I would have liked, I was able to pull my breasts up some and tighten the half elastic PVC ruffle, half bra band to fake the look.

Aside from the sizing issue my biggest challenge was getting the corset on. I wanted to surprise my Husband, so asking for help was out of the question. I found that loosening the back a bit, and then hooking the eye and hook closure in the front worked best for me. I could then reach behind me and tighten it in the mirror to the best of my ability.

The boning is done in a flexible plastic, and after a couple hours of wear I’ve found that it has taken on the shapes of my curves. While the construction is great and I haven’t experienced any nasty pop-outs of the boning like I do some of my underwire bras, the plastic boning does not do much for shaping like metal boning would.

However, despite the plastic boning I did find that the corset helped enhance my shape, while also giving the appearance that I had a flatter tummy from its length; which ends just below the belly button. This is always a plus for any weight conscious woman. I’m sure if I had bigger breasts and could fill out the D cup size, and it would help enhance that image even further by making my breasts the center of attention which would distract from any tummy image issues I may have.

Overall, I think that the Fetish Pink PVC corset was a nice addition to my small collection of lingerie. It’s something that is eye catching and mostly comfortable as long as I’m not slouching or outside of an air conditioned room. More importantly it made me feel sexy, which is no small fleet.

In order to care for the corset, the recommendations that were included on the tag say, you can use cold water on a delicate cycle. I recommend hand washing only when needed and air drying.

The weather has cooled off here a lot and I can't help but like the PVC corset a little more. It seems that a cooler climate or a killer A/C best suits the wearing conditions. Since it's not hot as hell here the sweaty sticky problem of wearing PVC has almost vanished and left me with a more enjoyable experience. My skin still sweats, but that is because the PVC isn't a breathable material. I love wearing this corset around the house with jeans, something about it makes me feel sexy and naughty. Not to mention that still gives me some nice curves.
