Wet look thigh high stockings - thigh highs by Coquette - review by cecelliastrick9

I've seen these stockings all over the place, and thought (actually, I still think) they were supremely sexy. Being a lady who likes leg accessory and shoe options, I thought these would be perfect to wear when I didn't feel like wearing cumbersome boots. Man, did they ever look hot when I put them on with a pair of black patent pumps! But let me tell you; the discomfort these stockings ended up causing me had me whipping out my sticky PVC boots quicker than I could get these stockings off. Here are the two main issues that I've got with these.

1. The toe! The toe is miserably bulky. The seams aren't sewn well, and when you put shoes on, the toe bunches up horribly. It’s like when your sock bunches up at the toe of your winter boots. Except these aren't socks, and you're probably not wearing them with winter boots

2. The fabric! This seems to be an issue with wet-look fabric in my over-all experience with it. It's flimsy, it doesn't hold construction well and there isn't enough Lycra in it to keep it in place. These stockings sag and bunch all over the place. My legs are long and lean, and these stockings had the potential to set them on FIRE. Too bad.
2a. Because of problems with the fabric, the tops of these seem to roll and get weird. Even with a garter belt.


These stockings were included in a charity pile of lingerie from a friend of mine who didn't like the way these fit. She's shaped really differently than I am; she's a short, super curvy hour-glass shape with big boobs, a small waist, and a 'donk for days. I am tall, broad chested with big boobs (that's about the only thing our body shapes have in common), no waist, no hips, no ass, and long legs. These didn't work for her for the same reasons they didn't work for me.

The company that makes all this wet-look fabric just needs to put more Lycra into their material; I think that would solve a lot of issues that I have with these stockings.
