Thigh highs with ruffles and bows - hosiery by Leg Avenue - review by tami

I ordered these thigh highs even though they are only in one size fits most and not a plus size, however they did show up when I did a search for plus size thigh highs. They did still fit my legs and were a little bit snug but still do-able. They are sturdy and won't snag as easily as some thigh highs do. The toe is reinforced.

I would not recommend wearing these with a garter belt since the band of satin won't allow them to hook to the thigh highs correctly and this causes them to bunch up and roll down. I would only wear them with out the use of a garter belt. They are cute with the ruffles and bows on them and will complement any outfit. They are for smaller legs since they did cut off some of my circulation and left a huge red ring around my leg.

Care of the thigh highs is noted as wash as normal but I would hand wash them because a washer is going to rip off the bows and spin cycle is going to stretch them out and the dryer is going to shrink them, so I would line dry them and I would only use non chlorine bleach as needed.

The thigh highs are a cute accent to your favorite outfit. My thigh is 21 inches around and while they did go on I would not recommend them for anyone if your thigh is bigger then this. I am 5' 5" tall and while they are long enough for me I would not risk it if you are taller than me, they are just not that long. if you have thighs that are about 18 inches around or less these are gonna work for you much better then they did for me.
