Black ruffled garter belt - garters discontinued by Coquette - review by countrycutie

I've always wanted a garter belt. Since the first time I saw lingerie back when I was about 16, I've been dying for a garter belt. I finally decided to get my first one and this is it. I wanted something simple enough that could be worn with multiple tops, but I wanted it to have some character. Thats why I went with the ruffles. They're old fashioned, fun and feminine.

I felt that this ruffled garter belt did everything I wanted it to do and it was very easy to use/wear.

The fabric is nylon and stretchy. Nothing fancy, but it does the trick. I think the ruffles are adorable and they really added some sexiness to my entire outfit. There were just enough ruffles to be sexy and add some fluff, but not too many that they were obnoxious. I felt like a sexy Bo Peep!

The garters themselves are the basic black garters with the black ribbon on the front. The closures are rubber buttons and little bit difficult to work with. I recommend sitting down to get them just right or they'll pop off!

The garters are 100% detachable so you can change them out for higher quality garters if you'd like. I do recommend upgrading to something a bit more sturdy and maybe with more character. The garters are just like mini bra straps and have very cheap plastic on them. I'd like to go with something a little more fun and this set allows me to make that upgrade.

The belt fit perfectly (I wear a size 6 pant).

I paired the garter belt with thigh high fishnets and a lace black bra. I thought the look came together really well. The great thing about this belt is that it is simple enough to be mixed and matched. Also very important since there is no matching top. Match this belt with any of your favorite black bras, camis, babydoll tops, etc.
