Mesh chemise with thong - chemise and panty set by Coquette - review by ~LaUr3n~

I've finally found it! A comfortable yet incredibly sexy chemise that I can sleep in too! The third time was a charm.

*Contents/overview:

This two piece set from Coquette includes a chemise babydoll with a matching pantie thong. The sizing is good for the chemise but the pantie is smaller in comparison.

*Material:

Right out of the box, the chemise has a slight smell of latex probably due to the fact that it contains spandex. This is therefore not safe for those with latex allergies. The trim may cause irritation. The chemise is made of 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex. The mesh material is very breathable, see through, and won't make you feel like you are wearing a sweater in summer. It is also stretchy but resilient and will return to its original shape.

*Design/craftsmanship

This piece is a mini-dress chemise with a decent length in the front and back for coverage and high side thigh slits. This is perfect for sleeping! I sleep with one leg up and usually this causes babydolls to ride up above my butt. I hate a draft of air on my butt when I'm trying to sleep. This chemise has got my butt covered! The slits has cute black trim and bows.

The front has a solid body with semi gathered triangle bra cups. There is no underwire, but there is a band on ruffling and elastic that goes underneath the bust and all the way around the back. This offers minimal support, but it is better than nothing. Between the cups is an upside down triangle cut out to show some sexy skin. A bow is positioned above this and has long tails from the ties. Also hanging form here is a silver lips charm. The cups are attached to ruffled straps that do not have any way to adjust them. You could get more bust support if they were shortened by sewing. The back is solid with nothing special.

The panties are thong with string bikini sides. They have a smaller than average crotch area, but are lined. They have black trim and bows in the front. They along with the chemise feel very well made and have nice stitching.

*Cleaning/care/storage:

The tag says to hand wash. But knowing this material and previous purchases from Coquette, I have been able to wash this in a lingerie bag or pillow case in cold water and then even put it in the dryer on delicate cycle for 10 minutes. It can easily and quickly be dried while laying flat also.

It comes in a reusable cardboard box that opens on the side. The front and back have pictures of a model wearing the product. If you want to get rid of the box you can hang it up, fold it in a drawer, or just place in the plastic bag it also comes in.

*Sizing:

I have had a lot of luck with Coquette products. Their one pieces seem to fit true to size. I got a medium for this one and it fit beautifully with the exception of the panties. Those were easily replaced though.

I weigh ~150 pounds (size 8/10); curvy but fit. The medium size says it fits a 8-10 dress size, B cup, 36-38" bust, 26-30" waist, 38-40" hip. This was spot on except for the bust. I have size 34/36 D's and they fit nicely (with a bit of room). I imagine a size B in a medium would be saggy.

The body was form fit but not too tight or pulling at all. The waist was also good, but if you are over 30" in the waist, you won't be able to skimp by without compromising the materials look. It will pull. Same goes for the hips. I am on the lowest end of the range and it fit to me so any higher and it might pull across the lap because of the side slits.

The panties however do not fit the size chart at all. They cut into me and I was on the low end of the chart.

Cup: C-D (smaller will be saggy)

*Conclusion:

I love this so much that I don't care about the small panties. I don't sleep or have sex in undies anyways! The only other possible bad part about this is that if you don't have a very pronounced waist, the design of the cut hips might make you look more boxy. If you are self conscious about this, steer clear. Otherwise, you will fall in love with this! I am giving it 5 stars.

I still love this so much that I wish eden carried it in the other colors. I have seen black and I would love to own it in that color. The quality is still holding up perfectly. It has done just fine being washed on a cool short cycle in the washer machine and then dried on a cool tumble. We have a fancy new washer and dryer that has all sorts of functions and control settings. This may make it easier for me to be able to wash these types of delicate items. keep this in mind when caring for this awesome piece!

It has become one of my top three pieces to sleep in.
