We like shiny things.

No, seriously. You may not think that's an earth-shattering epiphany, but in all my experiences, I have found this to be universally true with all men. So why not incorporate something shiny and metallic in the bedroom?

That's exactly what Dreamgirl decided to do when they created the Emerald Skirt Set- a product which, I can attest to as a man, blew my socks off. And for you ladies out there, this set won't make you feel like a two dollar woman of the night either. It's classy and sexy. And did I mention shiny?

This is a unique product because it isn't the typical corset/teddy/bustier piece of lingerie that comes to mind when you think of risque bedroom-ware. It comes with three pieces: A bikini style top, a short skirt with rings, and thong.

The halter-style bikini top looked amazing. It features a gold ring with metallic tassel thingys that hangs in between the breasts. It fits exactly like a swimsuit top, and ties in the back. If there's only one critique I would have with this set, it's in the top. I wish it actually was supported with underwire, or something that provided a little more support and lift than just a standard bikini top. However, that's just my own personal preference and didn't take away from the overall execution as a whole.

The skirt and thong are a great pairing together. The skirt is approximately 12-14 inches long, so it's quite short. The best feature of the skirt though is how the fabric is cut from a portion of the skirt, revealing the lower navel, just between the waistline and top of the thong. It gives others a great view of the thong from behind. The open fabric portion is also adorned with metallic rings adorned with rhinestones, making it all look very classy and sexy.

The fabric appears to be polyester, and is soft and silky to the touch. We will hand wash, simply due to the metallic rings. When my girlfriend tried this on for me, I absolutely lost my mind. I loved the shininess of it, and how it really shimmered against her skin. Ladies- I know this one might not be for everyone, but don't forget my tip. We. Love. Shiny. Don't forget it.

I laid it out on the bed as a surprise, and let her go into the room first. Five minutes later, I came in, and saw it. My first instinct was to rip it off, but I liked it way too much on her. It stayed on the whole time.
