Lace babydoll and g-string - babydoll and panties set by Coquette - review by winterseve

First off, I ordered this in the Plus One Size. This lace babydoll was a nice little number that my husband loves on me and against his skin. He likes it so much as far as texture that I swear I'm this close to getting him to put it on. The lace of the babydoll is so soft and very nice against the skin. Whether brushing against it, wearing it, or rubbing up during sex, this babydoll is very comfortable. The inner liner on the cup portion is also very soft and doesn't bother me when wearing it. Sometime the fabric irritates my nipples, but this one doesn't. The colors are red and black - this sexy combination in classic bad girl colors makes it visually appealing as well as sensually appealing.

The cut of the babydoll is exactly as it shows in the picture. This is good or bad depending on your personal fit tastes. The triangular cups cover just enough of the breast. I am now a 40F up from a 38DD before being pregnant. I was able to cover my breasts enough to be comfortable so it will work for a variety of ladies. There was no support for the top though. A great feature was that the solid lace straps are adjustable in length. The elastic around the bust stretches quite a bit so it will fit several women in the plus range. To top off the cuteness of the babydoll lies a small red bow between the breasts. The bottom of the skirt reaches to just barely cover my butt in the back, and covers just the front of my mons in the front. I have a short torso so taller women will probably have this come to just under their belly. I am 21 weeks into my pregnancy and this fit me great. Around the edge of the skirt is a cute bit of ruffled lace. I love that frilly little visual touch. Since the elastic around the body is so large it tends to get stuck under my "side boob". It's good because it holds the piece down, but it can be a little less visually appealing to me. My husband says he doesn't even notice and that it looks like it's supposed to do that. I am currently 184lbs and have a waist measurement of 41.5" (at my true waist) and 44.5" at my belly button "waist".

The piece itself was made in China. The craftsmanship of this babydoll (opposed to some items I have made in China) is great! The stitching is superb! I was so pleased as my husband and I poured over every inch in critical detail. Surprisingly my husband started the critical look at this piece. He tested and tugged to see just how well it would hold up. The attachments at the top of the straps that hold the cups is very well stitched. They didn't give at all. He tugged and popped the straps (like snapping a belt) to see how well they would stay and if it would make cause any issues, which it doesn't. The attachment between the bottom of the straps and the babydoll base could use reinforcing. While it would hold up under normal circumstances, if someone ripped this off of you or if you tugged tight it may start to detach. I will be reinforcing this connection just in case. I also tugged in another couple places and that held up too. I think we'll be enjoying this piece for years!

The thong, as usual was very large. I will be cutting the string portion to make it fit. The fabric portion, however, is great! It is sooo pretty and matches the cup portion of the babydoll. It is soft and also comfy to wear. The only problem with it was the string was too large so I have to cut and resew it to fit.

As with most lingerie, this one being made of 100% nylon, it is suggested that you hand wash only and hang or line dry. I put it in a lingerie bag on delicate to wash which turned out fine. I did hang it up to dry since I never take a chance with that.

When putting this on my husband's eyes opened wide and he said "I like". Since he's simple when it comes to stuff like lingerie. It got him in the mood for other things so after our analysis the babydoll didn't stay on long. I love this piece and I suggest it for anyone who likes the style.

I still like this piece but I don't LOVE it. I mostly wear this for my husband's sake. It is still cute and comfy, but the lack of support and style just isn't my favorite. I still recommend it, especially if you like a triangle style cup.
